My father wrote these lyrics in a poem when he was in High School in the 1960's. I made the poem into a song. It is a gospel country rock song that builds to end on a hopeful note.

This is a collaboration work created after a request from a wonderful artist called Computart to add percussion and some synth phrases to his song "Procession".
 The song is wonderful, and the bass sound and the exquisite gradation of the drone make the song impressive.
 "Is it okay to add my sound to a song that has been completed at such a high level?" I hesitated a bit (about 20 seconds), but my own curiosity ignited, so I added a lot of sounds and it was done.

Believe it or not:
DRAWBRIDGE was created at my home studio and referenced a hugely popular pop song called Driver's License by Olivia Rodrigo. The song sounds nothing like Driver's License but drew inspiration from this song's sound textures and arrangement. DRAWBRIDGE was crafted to deliver an emotional tension and buildup in a similar fashion.

About this track: This music is an introduction to the track "Cocon de l'Obscur", my collaboration with Wivresse. The background sound comes from a video I took in the forest in slow motion. The audio was so interesting, with these birds sounding like creepy dogs... so mysterious, I had to use this!

Instruments used: clarinet, keyboard

My album Fû is centered about aerial elements and woodwind. It's a kind of ode to the natural world, to the trees, to the birds and also a musical journey for any dreamer. I recommend to listen it with headphones for the best experience!

Probably the last part of the series. Impetus or momentum is also an archaic theory that was supposed to address the problem of inertia (and turned out to be wrong). Still, the concept seemed to me to fit perfectly with the idea of "feeding the movement", any force that moves us, keeps us in action. 
The main influence remains Steve Reich and in particular his work on "Electric counterpoint" and "2x5" which I wondered what would happen if they were considered as works of a new kind of rock that would only ask prosper.

Toujours est-il que le concept me semblait coller parfaitement à l’idée « d ‘alimentation du mouvement », toute force qui nous meut, nous garde en action.  
L’influence principale reste Steve Reich et notamment son travail sur « Electric counterpoint » et « 2x5 » dont je me suis demandé ce qu’il se passerait si on les considérait comme œuvres d’un nouveau genre de rock qui ne demanderait qu’à prospérer.
