You know what this is? A snowy peak castle, surrounded and inhabited by mages, snake-like warriors and pondering titans.

Marking my third collaboration with gifted pianist Debra Buesking, what an honor and treat to have her add her piano magic to a tune I wrote some 25 years ago on a warm summer evening in Colorado.  The Godin guitar seemed the perfect voice to express the warmth and intimacy of a summer evening reverie, and Debra's piano the perfect accompaniment, like two friends enjoying a glass of wine. Kołysanka Dla Ciebie /A lullaby for you

Recently I've delved into trying to do my own versions of some of the great and eerie music from 60s television shows. For this Halloween I wanted to rework this piece by Charles Gounod that found it's way into providing the theme for the Alfred Hitchcock Presents series in the sixties. I give you 'Funeral March of a Marionette (Marche funèbre d'une marionnette). It was originally written for solo piano in 1872 and orchestrated in 1879. This kind of stuff—exposed to me through black and white television signals—played a big part in my early love of music in general.

I used a combination of woods and strings along with some other bits and bobs.
