art-aud continues its challenge and reason to discover and introduce new talents, and this time welcome and present the debut release of Dj Archaea, a weird-loving nerdy dad from Tampa (USA). a threetracker that mixes many ingredients, certainly with uk-sound influences and veneration, but with a very American ghetto slappy touch. to complete the already succulent and colorful package of the aforementioned, we called two friends and such great artists to reinterpret his visions in their own way, with results that bring the whole to a beautiful sonic completeness. we are happy to be back!

V/A - SECRET RAVE 02 [AA-SR02]

art-aud is back to present his second release of the main series, after booming with the Secret Rave one. This release comes from a really important icon in the italian electronic-techno scene, a person that from the beginning of the 90s helped form what we enjoy now through his music, parties and writings. His name is Andrea Benedetti, aka Sprawl. Over the years he provided help to Lory D in creating Sounds Never Seen, founded his label Plasmek, created a fanzine called Tunnel and a distribution company with Marco Passarani, to name a few. This ep contains three tracks of pure electronic excursion and a remix by the Rephlex-twins D'Arcangelo. The track "Electrome" was originally released in 1994 on his own label and now, after nearly 23 years, sees the light again with a remaster.

Our journey continue with an ep of pure ageless music for the dancin brain, four tracks dusted from the archives of this mysterious artist. Real name Alastair Johnson released only few eps and one album in the mid/late 90s and then almost disappeared, we are more than happy so to have had the opportunity to highlight this material.The other big great satisfaction is also to have been able to involve the historical warp-affiliated duo B12 for a really deep/spacey interpretation. art-aud is thrilled to present you a big thing its been in the work for a while, a project collaboration with the historical italian label, Interactive Test. founded in ’91 from the crazy minds of the two brothers Franco and Riccardo Falsini, it was one of the first real underground imprints to born in Italy and to propose an innovative sound at the time, that soon after exploded all over the world more and more. with almost 40 releases done in few years, the two brothers have really created an empire, a stronghold in the hills of the belle Florence. now, after more than 25 years, we have decided to bring back the light to what for us are the most significant tracks and visions from their world, sign of a past but still very current present and future, in a sort of “greatest hits” vinyl compilation. six tunes of six different names, and different vibes, taken from different eps (all rare to find now), nicely remastered from the source files by the big man Alden Tyrell. 

The records (first run limited-trasparent copies) coming in full sleeve with an insert and a sticker.

art-aud is proud to welcome to the label the legendary hungarian trio and acid boyband, Wedding Acid Group, for the first output of the new year! They started jamming together at Ballacid Studio in Újpest around 2009 and did some live gigs, when then they finally released their first thing on tape on Farbwechsel in 2014. They are back now so, after 6 years, with some new fresh material (for the first time on vinyl !), two tracks of pure analog fun, mixing frequencies that are satisfying both for dancefloor and listening pleasure...straight acid for mind, body and soul. To make everything more crispy and fat, we called also on board two other giants such as rephlex alumni EOD and Clone/SHUT knight Ryan James Ford, that brought amazing own interpretations of the ogs. what more to say? it would not be up to us to tell it but...
this is a BUY ON SIGHT : )

It's been a while since we decided to open and launch this new project, we were just waiting for the right moment, and maybe we waited too long. or maybe not. we were a little stucked by the indecision of when to put it out, how to contextualize, and all the usual "psychological" practices that one faces before starting a new journey. but ever since we received the masters of this wonderful concentrate of different minds, we have been looking forward to smashing it out. and whether it's the real right time or not, it's now finally here! the true meaning behind this capsule is not so definable in words, perhaps because it is an attempt to look back and forth at the same time, without getting lost in a one concrete definition. but when we got to the tracks, first individually, and then together, it came spontaneous to glimpse something new and unconventional as a whole. we are therefore proud to present another of our musical journeys, this time in certainly more experimental and odd territories. the sounds you hear can definitely be taken as the true manifesto of this new chapter.
