This one is a bit different from my regular shows . 
I have been too busy to make a set with my guests this time .. 
So i decided to do this one from Ohm Series artist Taction and Sa3b.
Australian and a Beirut Dj.
Really nice sets,, they have their own flavor to bring to the table ,, so i thought it might be a nice combo ..

It is a big honour to feature the very talented @syberkid for our ninth Herbarium Episode. With her organic and trippy sound, she makes the perfect match for our series.
The artist chose one of the oldest ferns for her mix, Pteridium Aquilinum. There are fossil records for this plant which are over 55 million years old.
It’s native in the U.K., the place where Sybil is based. She says '[it] looks so prehistoric & Jurassic, I love it.'

It is wonderful how Sybil integrates the mystic yet ancient vibe of this plant into her mix. It describes the complex form and the magic which comes with the age of its existence on earth very well. There are moments in which one can imagine to really communicate with this inspiring plant and feel the atmosphere around it in our forests.

The term “sound art” is a loaded one. Depending on with whom you
are talking, it may refer pretty exclusively to site-specific installation art
or more broadly to music in which certain aspects of how sound is
being generated and sounds are combined with each are in focus.
When Valya Kan describes herself as a “sound artist,” she falls
squarely in the latter category. Albums such as her Dust & Haze LP
for Spencer Parker’s Work Them or the EPs and occasional live set
she has been releasing in recent years showcase a varied taste in
and knack for different styles of electronic music, but are all tied
together by the Berlin-based artist’s ability to make even more
conventional rhythms sound exciting.

Number 7 of our OYE Podcast Series is coming from a well-known figure in the dub techno music industry. We are very happy to have him delivering a mix for us. Thanks Kenneth Christiansen
for your recording, which includes a lot of new upcoming stuff and some unreleased tracks.

Kenneth is the owner of Echocord Records one of the most relevant dub techno labels, which has recently celebrated 20 years of activity. He is also running the Echocord sublabel Echocord Colour, and the label and project Pattern Repeat with his long-time friend Resoe. 

Since the late 1990s, Kenneth has frequently been spinning at Tresor in Berlin and other popular clubs and festivals all over Europe. His career in the genre dates back to his time spent working in record stores, running clubs and festivals in his hometown Copenhagen.

Liuos seemed to arrive on the dub techno scene all at once with Terms EP, his strong debut on Cold Tear Records, but this was the culmination of two decades of experimentation and discipline. A unique mix of power and spaciousness, of both longing and will, Liuos’ work stands out for its clarity and expansiveness. Working steadily from his modest studio in Finland, Liuos has quietly become a respected name in the world of dub techno, with releases on Cold Tear, Lucidflow, and spclnch, and remixes for Superordinate Dub Waves and Off Records (Belgium).
