Opening with the famous brass intro, which then develops into the well-known melody, the addition of the two MC’s each from different eras of reggae breathes new life to one of the biggest classics in the Trojan catalogue.

In an ode to its origins, the single was sent to reggae legend Jackie Robinson of The Pioneers ahead of its release to which his reply was “sounds like a hit, I love it”. Through the endorsement of the artists who have paved the way for Reggae Roast, Horseman and Natty Campbell as well as cohesively merging sounds from a plethora of reggae talent all of whom have shaped pivotal stages across the genres many musical eras is what makes the track and forthcoming album so culturally rich and diverse in its offering.

‘Do It Again’ is uniquely both new and classic, with its strong reggae roots blueprint in the form of the ‘Long Shot Kick De Bucket’ sample running through the track underpinned by Horseman and Natty Campbell’s instantly distinct bars and flow, the single feels familiar but equally sounds revolutionary all at the same time, a true reggae fusion designed to resonate with reggae lovers both new and old.
