Born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco. Malika is a music lover, record collector, and DJ. Over the past years, she’s been transiting across continents to connect and exchange with like-minded music heads whilst exploring diverse underground scenes. Through working in music supervision for films and documentaries, she's been continuously cultivating a firm sense for soundtracking images and conveying emotions, which she uses on a personal level in her mixes and DJ sets.

Valeria aka DĀNAE is an emerging DJ from Rome. Her sound has been influenced through numerous dance-floors, clubs, and festivals across Europe. In particularly, Berlin and in Rome, where  Goa Club played a prominent role in her musical growth. After more than 10 years of experimenting in the studio, @kosh212 is one of the few upcoming Moroccan artists to catch attention on a global scale. Growing up in Casablanca, it’s during his years spent in the U.S. that his interest in early acid tracks and Detroit techno truly matured.

Whether playing DJ sets or performing live, Kosh knows how to subtly jump through different genres. Versatility is in fact often said to be his trademark. His music delicately blends nasty acid basslines, frenetic breaks, and electro beats, as well as warm infused pads and fast-paced techno.

After moving back to Casablanca in 2016, Kosh has been actively involved with the label @csvoyager alongside his longtime friends and music partners @drissbennis aka OCB and Jonas Bengio aka @vviewtifuljoe. In 2021, Kosh started his own self-releasing label called @convergencerec

''GNAWA ELECTRIC LAUNE’' is the admirable collaboration between Moroccan Gnawa-master (Maâlem) Rabii Harnoune and Frankfurt electronic music producer @vbkuehl. A musical project born from an unexpected encounter and a firm will to bring Gnawa music out to the world. Written in Frankfurt, recorded and engineered in Bockenem, Germany, Rabii Harnoune & V.B. Kühl have collectively produced an LP that explores a special musical territory, perfectly blurring the lines between North Africa and Europe, released in 2020 via @tru-thoughts, this melange of traditional Northern African Gnawa music and electronic sounds has led to a fascinating debut and otherwordly cross-cultural friction resulting in a 12 piece album encompassing deep vibes and unstoppable grooves, building a bridge from old to new. ''GNAWA ELECTRIC LAUNE’' will bounce off the debut soon with a sophomore album perpetuating their unique vision.

Born in London, Half Mauritian half Moroccan, raised to music from both Morocco and Mauritius, @mehdi-elaquil is a DJ and Selector who has witnessed the pivoting of musical currents over the past decades. Heavily inspired by Jazz-funk, Hip-hop, Electro Boogie, Afro-beat, Soul, and House music, Mehdi has been honing his craft since the early 80s. As a DJ he has transitioned from playing in Ibiza to making regular appearances in London during the mid-90s, followed up by a steady relocation to Australia back in 2004. 
Firm lover of music on Vinyl as a medium with a continuously rising interest in electronics and studio gear, Mehdi has gathered solid knowledge and expertise over the years, which has led to the creation of his own equipment line 9 years ago, @condesaelectronics, a globally renowned series of high-end mixers, hand-made in South Australia. 

Mehdi's DJ style is free-floating, eclectic, and lively, with a penchant for positive vibes fully summarizing the essence of DJing.

Underground Audio has never been a label that shies away from delivering big room goods, and their latest is another stunning reminder of just why they’ve quickly emerged into one of the UK’s finest proponents of quality house music. It comes at us from the dab hand that is Sick Elektrik, a Manchester-based duo who are quickly making a name for themselves courtesy of their slick, uncompromising sound. Such a way of working bears fruit once more here, as the lads introduce us to that That’s Right EP, their debut outing for Underground Audio. 

Full of memorable big-room vibes, the original is a synth-soaked gem that’ll have the crowd worked into a frenzy in no time. As it rises and unfurls it gradually becomes more and more manic, while a well trodden vocal sample and some canny stabs keep the juices flowing. The customary remix comes at us from sometime Hot Creations man Russ Yallop, who turns it on its head thanks to a banging interpretation that’s not lacking in full-on vibes. Cleverly, Yallop slows the track down in parts too - a tactic that cleverly enhances the role of the magnetic baseline. The final original is “Ghetto Groove”, a rubbery tech-house anthem that comes with a catchy undercurrent and another famous vocal sprinkle. Again, the intensity levels are high here, and all things told it’s a stunning way to close off a really excellent EP.

Lenzman is back on Metalheadz with his first original work since his debut album Looking At The Stars. The EP is everything you would expect from Lenzman; soulful and well produced with a firm eye on the dancefloor. The release features regular collaborators Steo, Dan Stezo and newcomer producer Forren. It’s a welcome return to the label for Lenzman with six massive tracks that remind us of what a talent the producer is.

Being a long time resident DJ somewhere teaches you the sort of skills that stand you out from the pack. Cologne’s Lena Willikens is one such special selector who has very much made Salon Des Amateurs in Dusseldorf her own. As well as serving up singular sets there, she is also a key part of the Comeme Records crew with the likes of Barnt. For them she hosts a regular radio show, and for them she has released her brooding, industrially bleak techno sounds. 

Lena’s influences come from well outside the normal cannon - proto techno, industrial boogie, synthesised disco, outlier house and robot jack all characterise her work, and the set she has served up here. It is one hour of unusual grooves, unsettling atmospheres and metallic textures that are abstract and dehumanised and take you to a raw and visceral place that is hugely intoxicating. Easily one of the best mixes this year so far in our humble opinion!

The release randomly arrives in coincidence with the definitive closing of another legend, the place in berlin that has been a symbol for years of the cultural renaissance of the german capital after the wall, the Tacheles. When Gerald just moved to berlin, he got his house and his studio inside that very inspiring and artistic place, and as a tribute and homage to his legendary figure, some mysterious writer draw G's face on the right side of that building with the shamanic enigma above that giant mural "How Long Is Now", an existential sigh or question that perfectly sums up the uncertain past, present and future of one of Berlin's most important initiatives, as the Tacheles was, and as the things of our life that we love, as the music, can be, uncertain…But for sure this 3 tracker vinyl is real and it will last for long in our bags, these are 3 deadly club weapons by The Master between bass music, micro funk and soul excursions: A1 gives the title to the EP and it's subliminal dark and psychedelic after-hours dope session, while on B1 there's the shady and sexy atmosphere of "Groove of the Ghetto", a driving and funky house tune sustained by an ultra fat synth bass and enriched by soulful vocals and deep pads, while on B2 the EP ends wih the brutal Uk bass bonus beats monster entitled "202".
