First track of a new album where I'll try to be more eclectic, with closer approach to some genres. Experimented on this one over-editing vocal line on the left, and getting midi files out of organic guitar melodies, which I could play with virtual instruments. I hope you'll enjoy a different Ruizzoid shape.

Diane, this is DDD, This song, is called Blue Rose Cases, inspired by Gordon Cole, of course. We came up with this one on the 2nd night of our One Eyed Jack's open mic residency. Our friend Deputy Andy Brennan decided to join in on trumpet for this one and it came together perfect. For the record, Andy likes to drink sex on the beach. Diane, this one reminds me of a bullfighter's theme. Cooper & Phillip were on their best behavior this night. Not Stoney though, he was "feisty" and was shut off by the bartender. Diane, the food at One Eyed Jack's leave a lot to be desired.

Hi, I'm Chris and I am a research scientist by day and a songwriter in my spare time. I joined SC in 2013 and I mainly record acoustic guitar and vocal harmonies, but also like playing electric guitar, bass, keyboards and using drum loops.

My musical influences include Syd Barrett, Neil Young, Peter Gabriel and Paul Simon, and increasingly fellow SoundClouders; My favourite bands include Yes, Supertramp, Pink Floyd, Rush and Steely Dan, and I also listen a lot to The Beatles, Elton John, The Who, Van Morrison, Genesis, King Crimson,  Jethro Tull, Sparks, Stevie Wonder, The Grateful Dead to name but a few...
