Jermaine Lee also known as Dumplin (UK Funky) has always been involved in and around music. At just a young age Jermaine started his musical journey playing the Violin, which he reached a level Grade 7.

A few years later through his older cousin, Jermaine took a liking to UK Garage/2Step which heavily took an influence on his decision to start DJing, and in 2002 discovered his love for house music and began venturing out to a few house orientated festivals with friends.

Since then has had appearances at Warehouse Project, Parklife Festival, Victoria Warehouse, Albert Hall & other huge music venues in the UK and in Europe.

Jermaine Has his very own show Minimal Friday's Which is broadcasted on Manchester’s biggest underground radio station Unity Radio showcasing the best minimal house & deep tech from all over the world.

Shadow Sanctuary is the home of London based artist Dexter Kane. Whilst the imprint is primarily an outlet for his own music, showcasing work from friends, established artists and rising talent is also a large part of it's ethos. Three centuries ago in ancient Japan, a young swordsmith's impeccable work earned him the position of swordmaker to a king. His speciality was in producing swords that were small enough to be carried by the king for self-defence or the grave act of harakiri. This young man spent all his waking hours focused on the production of these swords, which were the greatest in all the land and earned him the name 'Ittetsu' or 'One Iron'. He dedicated his life to swordmaking, perfecting his skills through hours of practice, locked away on his own quietly crafting an armoury for the king. This solitary work ethic was embedded in Ittetsu's DNA and the family's connection to iron was passed down from one generation to the next...



His lineage can be traced all the way up to the modern-day, leading directly to the subject of this story who has taken on his forefather's name – Ittetsu. A member of London's infamous Fuse collective, Ittesu (AKA 33-year-old …......) possesses the same characteristics as his great ancestors, instilling a level of commitment to his music that is hard to find in today's fast-paced climate. Preferring to take his time on his productions, patiently tailoring subtle nuances to cultivate a sound that is all his own, Ittetsu's approach to making music is as precise as the work of the 17th Century swordmaker he has descended from.

SHORT BIO

Born in Iran and a citizen of Denmark since the early ’80s, Nima Gorji is based in Ibiza from where he continues to influence the international electronic music scene with his distinct style and vision. His career spans more than 30 years, having a beautiful beginning in Copenhagen’s club scene around the time when the modern house and techno music were taking shape, capturing people’s attention more and more. In 1995 he began a residency at the iconic Club, now remembered as one of the most known underground clubs in Copenhagen, where he played alongside numerous renowned DJs, slowly building on his name. His relocation to Spain brought him extended collaborations with Ibiza Underground, Monza, FUSE, Pyramid, Zoo project and Next Wave while in 2010 he was awarded “Best Ibiza Resident DJ”.
In 1999 Nima Gorji founded Welt Recordings alongside partner, followed by NG Trax and Need For Sound alongside his partner, relentlessly following his passion for electronic music by releasing numerous personal works as well as promoting other artists. His rich discography also includes materials published through labels like SCI+TEC, Deeperfect, Fuse London, Bondage Music, Out Of Orbit, Love Letters From Oslo, Indigo Raw, Cocoon Compilation , Murmur, Bla Bla Records, ÉTÉ, BodyParts and Melodeum, while others have been dispatched through Bandcamp

Although they’ve only been collaborating as Sombre for a short time, both Adam and Andre have each enjoyed individual success having been nominated for a Mobo and People’s Choice Music Award between them, as well working with some of the biggest names in the underground scene. Since working together they have already picked up support from world renowned artist

Manchester’s underground scene is fertile ground for producers and DJ’s to emerge. Sy Chan is for sure one of them. With years experience playing alongside, supporting major artists, and representing global brands, Sy Chan expresses the best cultural melting pot between east with west. His asian heritage combined with UK experience surely helped him to be recognised as a brand new name in the industry. His debut EP ‘Inner Minds’, on Horatio’s Berlin based label Natural Rhythm, has gained early support from artists such as Marco Carola, Luciano, Reboot, Paco Osuna, Nima Gorji, Gel Abril, Stacey Pullen, Federico Grazzini, just to name a few.
With many tracks & remixes lined up for release, including his long awaited ‘Bambara’ production, scheduled for release in early December on new Manchester label Sequential Records, Sy Chan is one to keep an eye on.
