So here you have it, the final mix of a truly unforgettable night. It just went so damn quickly though! It was all a bit of a blur playing this last 30 minutes! So much so, I ended up playing for 1hr 20mins! haha. Hats off to the other DJ's Andy Ward, Neil Metzner & Marshall who played absolutely blinding sets and sent home a very happy bunch of middle aged party animals! We don't get out very often anymore due to moving on and having responsibilities like kids and jobs but to take a step back into the times when we didn't have a care in the world and lived for the weekend was just great. I doubt we'd be able to do it every weekend but maybe the odd party once or twice a year to commemorate the best times of our lives might be manageable for the next few years at least.

After playing the PF21 'Paradise Factory' pre-club party in August 2014 I've been asked by many to do a classics mix. I don't usually do them but I was feeling quite nostalgic so here you go... Athenaeum, Hacienda & Paradise Factory 1992 - 1995

1994 I discovered a club in Birmingham called WOBBLE. Anyway this is a mix of all the hands in the air tunes from that summer that for me defined my 1994 experience of Wobble. 
I've used a bit of artistic licence with the intro - Some may not agree with every tune choice, some of them may not be the most underground or 'credible' tunes but they were the dancefloor fodder that Phil Gifford and guest DJ's such as Chris & James, Luvdup, etc. were hammering that summer that defined my personal experience... and most of them still make me smile now....  enjoy!

Inspired by the 'Hacienda' live stream over the weekend and the fact I haven't done one for a while I thought it was time to do another classics mix. I don't usually do them but I was feeling quite nostalgic and as we're all on lockdown and can't get out, why not... 

As with the last classics mix from 5 years ago this mix features tracks that are all favorites of mine and were played at either the Hacienda, Paradise Factory or the best pre-club bar in Manchester at the time 'The Athenaeum'.

Every track has a special place in my heart and brings back fond memories of special moments in time out on the dancefloor.

Playing at parties for Maxim Magazine, Hed Kandi & DTPM as well as being the resident DJ for over 10 years at Manchester's finest boutique hotel & restauant 'Velvet' and warming up for Danny Krivit at the SSW4 'Scottish Soulful Weekender'.
 
Mark's talents don't only apply behind the turntables, in the 00's he also launched his own record label 'Neat Music Recordings'. Releasing primarily deep and jazzy house music, you'll find many of his tracks featured on big named compilation albums like Hed Kandi, Cafe Del Mar, Sony Music and over 50 others.
