Avant de devenir un ami incontournable de l’éco-système Afterbeach, Nico, alias La Roze, est co-fondateur du label baléarique-groove “Love Reaction”, créé entre Genève et Grenoble il y a six ans. Passionné de musique, La Roze est un mélomane obsédé par la recherche de nouveaux disques. Toujours à l'affût, il parcourt inlassablement les magasins de disques et les marchés aux puces à la quête de raretés vinyles et de grooves inédits. Avec son sourire et sa bonne humeur contagieuse, il partage ses trouvailles éclectiques derrière les platines, et nous avons eu la chance de vivre cette expérience cet été.
Pour ce mix, enregistré dans le cadre d'une intense gueule de bois, il propose une sélection Downtempo mêlant soul suave et slowbreaks atmosphériques. Une proposition parfaite pour se remettre en douceur des émotions de la veille, prouvant qu’un “hangover tuesday” peut également être une occasion de groover !

John has lovely taste in music which often incorporates more of a world sound. He has a killer show on NTS and throws the Tangent parties alongside Nick The Record. John played a wide ranging set going round the houses in perfect fashion and it was great to hear more of a world sound in those trees at 9am in the morning. A lovely lovely time.

Coolrnch (Cool Ranch) is a Seoul-based DJ and record collector. He collects and plays records from various countries and genres that have bright energy. His music focuses mainly on Classic disco, Italo disco, House, Synth-pop, Soul and Balearic.
He curates sets that make everyone on the dancefloor feel comfortable and have fun, allowing people to be themselves and dance freely.
He hosts a bi-monthly radio show, Cool Ranch Discos, on Visla FM, a Seoul-based underground radio station. As a member of the party labels WorkHardPartyHarder and Cha Cha Mambo, he regularly organizes events and plays at various venues across the city, establishing himself as one of the young DJs keeping the Seoul disco scene alive.
