Presented in this live concert recording, "Through The Years" is intended as a journey into memory, in three sections. The 1st section, led by oboe, is a wistful recollection of a memory. The 2nd, a buoyant waltz led by clarinet, is the most happy and nostalgic form of a memory. The 3rd, led by flute, is a balanced recollection of the memory not as a time of sheer joy, or overarching sadness, but a true and beautiful mixture of both.
