Fluid, versatile, generous and resolutely freakish, Israfil evolves in a trippy and weirdo universe. Established for over 10 years as one of the pillars of Metaphore Collectif and their Meta haven of many fantasies, the Marseille's minot is well known for propagating the free parties and club scene tumultuous energy. Though, here a secret that's no secret: you can't resist the sweet song of the naiads when you've been facing the Mediterranean your whole life. Every now and then, Israfil opens the gates of his "Eden in a dream" mix series, broadcasting the blissfull sound from above. Today, the holy stream is on again for the fourth time, delivering one hour of delicate jazz, aerial trip-hop and downtempo serenades.

Hey folks!
As always, we keep going on with our guestmix series, seemingly condemned to be interrupted by uncontrolled hiatuses. But who cares? We all enjoy a bit of freewheeling from time to time, right? 

Speaking of which, let’s introduce the not-so-all-here Gargantuan Grief and his schizophrenic mix, to mark the return from vacation. Apparently, coming back from Neverland was a bit too much to process for our little Peter Pan, who now looks determined to take it out on the good ole Bamboo Spirit. So sorry there ain’t no Tinker Bell anymore to look after you, amigo! 

Anyway, if you love dark, tense audio atmospheres in your ears, here’s a masterpiece of post-internet music, constantly flip-floping between emo-trap, metal-grazed breaks, noisy ambient and violent drum n bass, just like his legendary album on @dawnrecords. Seems like all children grow up, except one.

T.V.S.T. joins today with the unequivocal “Tv is Terrible” guestmix: a series of experimental experiences between ambient, percussion, musique concrete, post punk and avantgarde, brought to your attention via Hertzian transmission. Here, everything seems washed-out, as if the cassette tape of your life had become slack because of too many rewinds. It’s time to turn off the soporific, spiraling blue screen that has been sucking up your soul for so long. Maybe a bit of fresh air could perk up the sluggish gum hidden behind your bulging eyes?

T.V.S.T. is the fictitious pseudonym of the mastermind and subculturalist Franz Aembient of Kashual Plastik. A protagonist of the vibrant Neukölln scene, influential disc jockey and selector. Program Curator of arkaoda. He works out of Berlin and is involved in various music/art projects under several dozen mysterious names. With his own label Kashual Plastik, he experiments with an authentic DIY approach composed of an intriguing graphic aesthetic and a hard-to-categorize sound inspired by Punk, 80s Synth-wave, EBM, Electro as well as Noise, Ambient, Folk and Leftfield electronics.

BS083 - Passage through the blue mist w/ Prince of Gosplan

Prince of Gosplan (the alter-ego project behind the De Kat Memwa guestmix series) joins our own podcast with a sonic collage to explore and re-assess personal memories, emotions, events and places.
His "Passage through the blue mist" mix ties altogether classical music and jazz, melancholic poetry, Eurasian folk, spoken word and field recordings from his St. Petersburg native city. A blend of sorrow and hope: lending emotional depth while hinting at a spark of light in the darkest corners of the soul. Far from freezing you in time with cumbersome memories, this spiritual passage through the blue mist shall trace a movement from anxiety and loss toward an inner renewal.

Here are a few words from Prince of Gosplan about his mix:
"This is probably the most personal thing I’ve done under the Prince of Gosplan name. It’s a space where the imagined and the intimate blur — where I try to process memories, emotions, and places by shaping them into a kind of sonic essay. Maybe I’m overcomplicating it, and all these semiotics only make sense to me. In the end, it’s just a selection of tracks that were mixed in particular order, but the process itself feels strangely therapeutic to me. And that’s reason enough to keep doing it.
This particular mix was also shaped by impressions from reading diaries, works of autofiction, and essays — stories where protagonists face emotional challenges, yet eventually find the strength to move forward. That narrative arc resonated deeply with me. In fact, the cover of the mix features a frame from Hedgehog in the Fog by Yuri Norstein — a masterpiece that I see as a quiet meditation on getting lost, confronting inner fears, and coming out the other side altered, maybe softer, maybe stronger. Each sonic fragment in this collage carries part of that transformative journey. It flows through symbolic phases: drowning; resurrection; fragile and quiet joy; sadness and disorientation; then movement, searching, and finally rebuilding with a hope for better. And yes — blue is my favorite color. It holds sorrow and light at once, and to me, that’s where transformation begins."

ionoss is an aspiring manipulator of visuals, matter, and sound - at the beginning of an errant path which may end in a mesh of cables, synthetic skin, and autotuned delirium. Drawn to jagged rhythms, guttural bass, screams, and the sounds of blips, bells, and droplets. She conjures sonic spaces where the artificial becomes intimate, like the 'Rodeo & Digital Larvae' show on LYL Radio she co-runs with Aramo, and 'The Relentless Grip Of Time', her new solo residency on Fade Radio.
Today, the Athens-born, Marseille-based artist graces us with one of her haunting audio collages, a chaotic transmission where signals slash, voices rupture, and rhythms shatter like bone. Though, hunger lingers, and this cyber-utopian creature crawls through the backrooms of your memory, scavenging for terabytes to drain. Like a dead pixel born from too many glitches, her feral grin remains etched on your screen, as her mix floods your ears to the point of saturation.

After at least a couple years in the making, we finally intercepted good old Low Bat's transmission for Bamboo Shows. A culinary companion, expert in hay-matured duck, spinash dough, cheddar dashi or even olive-oil confection, and, while we're at it, a great musician (part of trystero, Andermole and Jean-Luc, handyman for Mutant Radio and former Berlin hell-raiser).

True to form, dear Louis provides with a dreamlike trip, via his 'Donkey Ride'. Drop the tab under the big pink, and take this stony cow-path along with him. Under the blazing sun, grass grows faster, emotions feel deeper, and the ordinary drifts far away. One hour of stretched melancholia, folk to lose yourself in the horizon, vivid synthwave and other oddities that gently blur reality.

Alex (from Galax) is one of the upcoming young souls from Cologne. With his partner Martin Simonis, he’s hosting Thursday night events at Acephale called "Siamo Siempre Insieme" with guests like Luzi Gehrisch, Basso from Growing Bin Records, Bernhard Tobola or Rearview Radio. His music pushes the boundaries of wave influences and strange synthies mixed with everything in between. “To Rave or not to Rave?”
