Amniote Editions teams up with Mala Junta to release “The Collective Capsule” in celebration of 5th anniversary of Berlin’s favourite queer event.

“The Collective Capsule” is a celebration and tribute to the unique Mala Junta and it’s impact on Berlin’s vibrant contemporary queer scene as well as a reflection of the core principles of these two collectives, which serve as a mirror for the society we want to push forward.

The package features a 12″ vinyl record composed of 4 tracks from Mala Junta’s residents Hyperaktivist, Yazzus, DJ Tool, and D.Dan, as well as two compilations featuring Roza Terenzi, Jensen Interceptor, Mohajer, Peachlyfe, Francois X, Narciss to name a few..

The Collective Capsule Compilation Vol. 2 emerges on Amniote Editions on 15th September.

She one of the driving forces behind HOTSHOT, a collective working to empower FLINTA artists and promote intersectional feminism in the electronic music scene. Chocolate Grinder, a revered figure in the East German music scene too, has a long history of contributing to local soundscapes. In 2019, he caused a stir when he debuted Wellness Records, focussing on minimal-infused house music.

Dancefloor is queer' is an ep by a queer for queer dancefloors. Through the melancholy, euphoria, tension of progressive house, and the letting go of trance, I wanted to create a project that would convey what I feel with music when my queer body moves.

Being in my head, letting myself undulate to the rhythms, feeling the light of a club piercing me in the morning, the outside air as I leave the club, and seeing other queer bodies who are also escaping the outside world, that's what the club is for me.

This ep is an ode to my first queer nights out

Roza adds a percussive touch, tailor-made to let off steam in the way lesbians know so well, and then, well, let's be honest. What an honour to have an artist like her on remix!
