ASTROCOMMS

I strained my wrist playing guitar while practicing a new piece I hope to post in a month or two, so in the meantime I decided to freshen up a short piece I had on SC from a few years ago. It’s a simple melody, a musical meditation, towards peace; the dove of peace carries this message, through many cultures and religions. Peace is needed now, more than ever. Hope you may spend 2 minutes with me to meditate.
PS. Wasn't able to master this with clarity, so headphones/earphones best.

Sidewinder - Jay Arana & The Weighty Tree

An older song initiated by Thom Brunkard's superb dobro guitar and then Chris Pendergraft's gruff, bluesy vocal. I added some Snaithilicious  guitar atmosphere (mainly delay/echo pedals) and then went overboard with this typical guitarist's mix. The final, more polished versions can be found below but I still have a soft spot for this one.

I am not a musician but music plays a very important role in my creative life! I am an artist/designer and music is my companion and my muse in the long hours I spend working in my studio!
