At the end of 2020, I played this set on The Detour Drive, The Funk Hunter's weekly stream on Twitch. I dug into my crates for some of my favorite jams that likely wouldn’t make it into any other mixes. From funk to feel-good house to a bunch of classics, this mix has a bit of everyone to enjoy. This mix is dedicated to the vibe of Sunday Afternoon.  Whether you’re kickin back and relaxin, out getting your adventure on, taking a Sunday cruise or just rejuvenating from a wild weekend - this is your soundtrack.  

The songs in this are some of my all-time favorites and it was really fun and challenging doing something a bit different.  There are no originals of mine in here and I didn’t play any trumpet as I’m no longer playing trumpet.  That being said I tried to bring something fresh and unique while still dropping in some throwback gems.  About 100+ hours went into putting this together, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

So this mix is years overdue... As a DJ who started out playing strictly DnB I used to have a secret hate on for house music. House was always a dirty word in my vocabulary but over the years, especially during the pandemic I started to dig it more and more. My doctor said there was nothing wrong with me, it's perfectly normal to like house music.😅 I'm no aficionado but, for a while, I've wanted to put together a bunch of my favorite housey & garagey tunes. So here it is, my first ever House (and a little garage) mix Durty Wurd! Perfect for summer time boogies, road trips, pool parties, orgies etc...
