The bringthebeats underground is a Toronto-based collective dedicated to the electronic dance music scene since 2002. Our preferred style is funky progressive house, but we promote any sound with depth and substance. This SoundCloud stream features exclusives, live sets and classic favourites.

The BTB community is currently paused. We have some ideas for the future, but for now, just check out our groovy friends in our likes.  Stay tuned and we thank you for your patience.

We're a collective from Toronto, Canada, makin' sweet roots-style 𝕖𝕔𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕔 𝕕𝕒𝕟𝕔𝕖 𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤, with a rich infusion of nature awareness, seasonal food-sharings and permaculture 𝓅𝒾𝓏𝒶𝓏𝓏𝓏𝓏𝓏

Mostly we just like ʟɪᴠɪɴ' simple, ᴡᴏʀᴋɪɴ'hard, and ʜᴀᴠɪɴ' fun. It's been a ʟɪꜰᴇᴛɪᴍᴇ ᴏꜰ ʟɪꜱᴛᴇɴɪɴɢ ᴀɴᴅ ʟᴇᴀʀɴɪɴɢ that's led to this expression. Sharing the ways in which our hearts have been touched by these sound waves. We present a 𝚜𝚠𝚎𝚎𝚝𝚕𝚢 𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚎𝚍, dᵢᵥₑᵣₛₑ ₐₙd ₑcₗₑcₜᵢc range of soul soooOOOOOoooothing sounds to bring around peace, prosperity, and plenty of positively peachy pleasantries

The dew is on the lotus! — Rise Great Sun!

The dew drop slips into the shining sea!

A passage from a Buddhist text speaking of the dew on the lotus, like our individual drops that one day will be absorbed back into the ocean; a sort of metaphor for our journey from ego back to oneness.

Dew Drop brings this to mind ~ I like that it's diminuative, simple and natural ~ From this place I share this music with all my heart, for all the good world to hear, and to be inspired ~
