Berlin-based artist and label project ASEC, centered around raw, yet hypnotic and dancefloor-oriented electronic music is our guest for podcast number 102. To Berlin via Manchester, ASEC’s music focuses on tension and release with tracks that build momentum and intensity. As a Producer, Live Act and DJ, ASEC delivers his driving and expansive vision of electronic music which consists of dark textures, idiosyncratic melodies and dynamic drum sounds. PERLES is a Moroccan electronic music producer, composer and DJ. based in Agadir. He sees herself as a selector who loves to bring music to the people, using it as a cross-cultural language.
PERLES's musical taste and choice of sound is influenced by her Afro-Moroccan roots, closely intertwined with her early experiences with Techno & Afro House.
His sophisticated and beautifully crafted DJ sets are defined by vast electronic sounds. The emotionally charged atmosphere, the alternating deep, melodic and synthesizer-kissed components are in a constant synergy with uplifting and tribal elements colored by a rhythmic, percussive and spiritual energy.
