Ultraviolet is Oscar Robles Diaz (guitars & U10 Touch Guitar), Brittany Christina Bowman (bass guitars & vocals), and Beau Stocker (drums). Collective interests in spontaneous composition present a palette of ever evolving musical ideas unique to each performance.

Hawa meaning wind in Arabic is experimental, improvised avant-folk music of the West Asian diaspora that we like to call ‘Levant-garde’. Music of resistance and liberation from the root of the land and the depths of the soul.

I am a self-taught improviser focusing on drum set and various North African & Middle Eastern hand percussion. I play in the trio "Air Above Mountains" with my partner Destanne Lundquist (moog synth, flute and various noise making implements) and Scott Bertram (guitar, effects).
 I am also very inspired by Korean traditional shamanic music, as well as the many schools of improvisation in both modern and traditional music.

Drummer/educator/researcher with interests in sound exploration with acoustic and digital/electronic devices, experimental music, and cultural translation.
