He run a music store, organized a monthly party and had radio shows there. Step by step, African music has become a real passion. The wind, a planetary organism, has no sound of its own. It produces it when in contact with other organisms. The wrinkled surface of the planet is the wind's vocal cord, like countless needles on a globular soundboard. It catches in taut strings, roars in tubes, whistles through cracks in buildings, blows away tiny grains of sand and rustles on soft surfaces. The rapid and persistent swirling of airwaves circles the land and oceans in less than a day. Every atom in the atmosphere changes its place, every breath in followed by a breath out. The wind moves with the heat and today it has a fever.

Rivers and seas capture voices, archive and transmit them. Imaginable watery void – blank field of humid nothing – is getting more and more potent, filled with the end of the world for many. Water is one of basic routs of today (and past) migrations of people. The way is not secure, it never was, not for human beings. What do we hear, when we listen closely to the water? Anywhere (walls, fences, barbed wires, razor wires don't function with water, transmission goes up, down, around and through).

beepblip [Ida Hiršenfelder] makes immersive bleepy psychogeographical soundscapes by use of analogue electronics, DIY and modular synths, field recordings and computer manipulations. She is interested in bioacoustics, experimental and sound spatalisation. She was a member of Theremidi Orchestra (2011–2017) DIY sound collective and is currently a member of Jata C (with OR poiesis, Boštjan Perovšek, Bojana Šaljić Podešva, and Brane Zorman) group for bioacoustics and sound ecologies.
