SARABANDE by George Frideric Handel (German: Georg Friedrich Händel; pronounced [ˈhɛndəl]) (23 February 1685 – 14 April 1759) was a German-British Baroque composer, famous for his operas, oratorios, and concertos. 
Please have a listen to my tribute and I hope i do not offend the Baroque experts but this is my modern take on this beautiful and stirring piece of music!

Here is my new music composition. I played in G#m, using a slightly different melody and bassline for each verse. I wanted to express nomadism, migration, travel, exotism... Hope you like it (I'm now working on another track which will mix real saxophone with electro sounds)

Hi All - this is my submission to the Piano Cloud's International Challenge, which was set up to express a musical a style which is native to your home country or in the style of a famous artist from your homeland.

I took most of my influences from Holst and Vaughan-Williams.  I think the idea for the melody came from growing up singing hymns at school.  As you will hear the track starts off with some gentle piano and introduces further instruments as it progresses.  I apologise in advance for the final section - it wasn't my original intention to create such a bombastic finale! :)

The same "Surrey Hills" was inspired by the fact that it's the birthplace of Ralph Vaughan Williams and it's also very close to where I live, so I visit there quite often.

I hope you enjoy this track - please let me know what you think. This was quite an ambitious project for me because I built the orchestra from the ground up and used many individual layered tracks to create the overall effect.

I'm a multidisciplinary artist born in 1983. I started creating music in 2011. I have a degree in Journalism but I'm a self taught person in music. I learned to play drums a long time ago when I was 10 y/o. I learned the piano more recently. 

I own a small studio in Belgium since 2012. I edit my sounds mainly in Ableton Live. All the tracks I post here are original and personal works (there are a few collaborations too).
