About this track...
Stevie wrote this track lyrically about reincarnation after a near fatal accident left him in a coma. Fortunately he survived and released the track on his seminal 1973 album 'Innervisions'

This was the first EWF track I ever heard and it blew me away! It's great to be doing a modern version 30 years later!

I've had this track on the back burner for years. It's such a brilliant track and I wanted to do it justice so it has gone through a number of versions to reach this point.
I knew I wanted to throw in some jazz chords and slow it down, which is what I have done, but I had to wait until I had learned enough to formulate a decent production.
The moral of this story then is... All things come to those who wait.
