Luigi Turra is a musique concrète composer and graphic designer whose main 
interest is in the aural balance between silence and tactile perception of sound.

Terje Paulsen
(b.1958) is a sound artist from Norway, working with simple instruments and equipment, sometimes self made, sounds from found objects &amp; fieldrecordings from his local environment.

I am mostly interested in (free) improvisation (if there is something like free). The music I've uploaded here consists of a series of improvisations I played on alto and baritone saxophone while processing their sounds using my notebook in a way enabling me to sort of 'interact with myself' in real time. Everything is entirely recorded live - with no overdubs or such - except for the 'saxophone duet' I played at the end. All pieces are based on sets of rules, so they are not totally free improvisations - nevertheless their outcome is very (totally?) different each time. It is a bit like football: everyone knows the rules, but there's no way to know how the match will evolve or who will win ... or who will break the rules.

3LEAVES was founded by Ákos Garai in 2009. The label is committed to support artist who have a certain sensitivity towards their environment, research its deeper relationship and clearly presents these permanent or even momentary connections in their field recording based sound art.

We are absolutely listener centered instead of artist centered. We believe and support active listening which goes beyond the common concept and relation to music listening today.

Against the current trends, 3LEAVES stands with physical releases. Carefully designed and delivered them to the listeners, we hope that we can hands something that is joyful and generating positive ideas both locally and globally.
