Grid celebrates Christmas a bit in advance this year by offering you a special gift : a one-of-a-kind family compilation with Grid producers remixing other Grid producers tracks previously released on the label.

The project started with this simple idea, ending with 12 unpredictable matches, 12 chance encounters. A lovely way to revisit our catalog by the artists themselves, gathered together after 4 years, like catching up at a family dinner. 'Long time, no see !’bass

Featuring three original tracks and one inimitable and whacked-out remix by rising Nottingham talent Coralie, Othering demonstrates the clear-cut evolution of Mercy System's style, showcasing his ability to redefine the UK’s underground sound with each new release.

Dynamic in scope, Othering is a headstrong collection of contorted, lights-down dance music and sinuous atmospherics, and another standout release for artist and label alike.

For our second RMX-EP, four talented artists and friends have reworked SOS_CARLOSS's Three Bodies EP, creating fresh takes that still connect with the original sound. The remixes explore bass-heavy interpretations, experimental and atmospheric approaches, dubstep hitters, and garage rollers.

This remix EP features contributions from Chewlie, mmara, Superpuma, and DJ Aufregen. A big thank you to all of them for making this release happen!

SOS_CARLOSS – Three Body Ethercum (Chewlie Remix)

traverse is proud to announce the release of its first record - a compilation of six tracks from various artists, inspired by Pembroke King’s poem moving silhouettes, written for this occasion.

As the fourth volume of the compilation series “traversée”, moving silhouettes encourages artists to explore all corners of listening music and creative avenues that aren’t tied to any one convention.

Pembroke King’s poem sheds light on the mood of the compilation, and even though each artist brings its own interpretation of it, there is a beautiful harmony of it all - from Kate Miller’s atmospheric sounds to Teqmun’s drums-made-of-rain-drop-recordings or Ghjuliú’s nostalgic melodies, the listener travels around Pembroke’s words with each track.

As our first physical release, we feel honoured to collaborate with artists who have been involved in a way or another on traverse before such as Officium, Mika Oki and Alohn, but Kate Miller, Teqmun, and Ghjuliú, that we’ve been keeping close to our heart for a long time already.

Experimental artist ex.sses makes her debut on traverse with 4 body - a 4-track EP that embodies her bass led-palette of sounds and fuses heavy bass, broken drums and textural sounds. 4 body imagines the body shifting and mutating though diﬀerent states,
breaking apart and coming back together to find itself anew. We are drawn into landscapes where the voice whispers from the edges asking the listener to submerge themselves.

Australian and Paris-based artist Gillielove contributes with a remix that depicts to the perfection their love for hypnotic and deep grooves, broken percussions and mutant basslines.
