Part of an improv series. This time with the Acoustic Martin into the Katana through the RC-500 looper and Hologram Microcosm pedal for the drone and glitchy parts. All one take straight into Ableton.

Improv Series - Thursday - long format

Another of the improv series. This one on a Wednesday evening mid spring on a rainy day. I play into the Katana with a few delay pedals, the looper and the circuit tracks in the FX loop. USB recorded straight into Ableton. Enjoy.

Chill Improv - Wed - Apr2623

Part of the Improv Series. 1. This one with a few basic chords looping. 2. Build up the drum loop with the Novation Tracks. 3. Play over the loops feeling the moment. 4. End with a dramatic Microcosm fade and glitch outro.

Improv - Four Chord - May823

A few chunks of loops from an improv session earlier in the day. This one starts with the drums (initially tapped in after the loops), then into the 2 bar bass line (track one of the looper), into a multi-layered 4-6 bar layer fest of earlier guitars (looper track two), all sent into the Haze setting for a finale with the Microcosm.

Loop Chunks - Improv Series

Another improv for the Improv Series. This time using an Audient iD14 interface to better capture the moment. The usual guitar into a couple pedals into the Katana. The Katana out to the RC-500 looper into the Novation Circuit tracks for the beat and finally into the Microcosm for the stereo effects and final gentle chaos outro. This was all one take (with a couple spots I cut out to shorten the overall length).

Wednesday New Moon - Improv Series

It was hailing outside on a thursday when this improv was recorded. Mellow warm up session. Double loop layers with some soloing over the top, then through the Microcosm for the flourish at the end.
