At the beginning 2021, Billy Zach's new album is released on la pochette surprise records: a two-part concept album with 13 tracks. Thematically set in a capitalized world where most things are pretty bad and few really good, it's not only about losing; "isn't it funny that I can't change?"; but above all about not giving up. Hence the album title "Struggle On"

While the first part of the album consists mainly of crisp 3-4 minute guitar pieces with catchy structures and usual ironic lyrics, the longer and more progressive pieces in the second part of the album focus on monotony and structure. Common to both parts is the typical, reverberant Billy Zach guitar sound and the characteristic, often bored vocals.

Billy Zach; A Post Punk project from Hamburg: Noisy Riffs, reverbish rooms, crushing Drums, pumping bass and some nagging grumbling. A hint of melancholy. Billy Zach is guitar music; angry and loud, sometimes melodious, sometimes oppressive. Billy Zach can be described as the rough sandpaper of the wholesale market named pop music – picturing the smoothing and exhausting character of their songs. Indeed, contradictions are more often wanted than feared; no matter if musical counterpoints or lyrical Paradoxes. Billy Zach sets light into dark, whispers too loud and laughs with tearful eyes. Their music represents how connected and simultaneously torn apart moments can be, without a raised forefinger.
