Starting out in 2008 as a hard-hitting drum and guitar duo, Blackbutton produced two independent records: That Thing That You Want To Put A Finger To Is Because (2009), and Gun Shot Lover (2010). Guitarist/vocalist Jordan Tavenner, and original drummer Anshul Jain, toured the New England area and ended their performances at the 2010 SXSW Festival. The band took an indefinite break, while Tavenner explored new musical projects with friends and other musicians. 

After a two-year hiatus, Tavenner re-established Blackbutton by soliciting help from friend and drummer Justin Emile (Aloud, Big East), and Boston newcomer Dave Koslovsky on bass. In 2012, the band started work on new material, preparing for their re-introduction into the Boston music scene. The new trio is heavier and more adventurous, but still manage to maintain the pissed-off attitude that fans expect.

In 2013-14, the band will be releasing a string of new single recordings, dubbed The Stripper Series. The singles will only be available for digital download via the band's fan email list.

Emmanuel Vincent Presents is a small press for cassettes dedicated to heavy meditation. These releases are intended to delve into the  spheres of sound poetry, spoken word, collage, new age, and a line in ambient work that toes the noisy border between contemplation and anxiety. The standard process of starting a band does not usually revolve around already having a record out. This, however, was the case for Holy Boys Danger Club.

	Holy Boys Danger Club are an independent rock and roll band featuring Michael “Miek” Rodrigue (Vocals, Guitar), Dan Capaldi (Drums), Nathan Cyr (Bass Guitar), and Zach Jones (Guitar). After botched attempts by Rodrigue to get the band going while at college with Capaldi and Jones, the project was put on hold until the making of the band’s first release Lessons For Liars. The EP, produced by Jonathan Wyman, would be released a year after it was made to much praise from press and radio. A request to open for another band found Rodrigue and Capaldi reaching out to Jones and long time friend, bassist Nathan Cyr (also of The Lucid) who would round out the line up. Few rehearsals and a couple shows would solidify the chemistry within the quartet and confirm its existence as a band.

 	Holy Boys Danger Club would spend 2009 writing songs, playing the abundance of venues in their hometown of Portland, Maine, as well as traveling throughout the northeast. While the band became known for their unrelenting live sets, they decided to take a break from performing in November as they would return to Jonathan Wyman’s beloved Halo studio to craft their sophomore release, The Boo Box. The Boo Box not only introduces the audience to the band’s official line up, but showcases the quartet’s growth in song writing and playing together. The 6 song EP, finds the band exploring with new sounds and refined structures, as well as the muscular alternative tunes they’ve become known for in their live shows.
