Had one of the better club sets of this decade this weekend. At least the flow took me on this beautiful deep trip.  The acoustics of the new @akashaibiza are of another world. 

Pleased to share my recording of the opening of this beautiful new treasure of Ibiza. Akasha opened its doors two weeks ago and gave me the privilege to serenade this acoustic super gem. ⁣

A Dirty Love Story #12 - Waking Dreams - Black Rock City - Mixed By Isaiah Martin

On Monday afternoon my camp Rise and I headed out for the first time on our artcar. Driving all across Burning Man for five hours was the perfect way to get a sense of the magnitude of this incredible spectacle. Besides my fellow Rise family more and more people hopped on the artcar. The vibe was incredible! And this ended up being one of my favourite memories of the week.

At one point we were cruising deep playa while the sun was setting. The artcar was super packed. Everything is covered in a smooth golden light. People dancing. People holding on to the car on their boards. People cruising along on their bikes. This was such a surreal and magical scene to experience. And int he back of our minds we were all realizing that this was only the first day. This was only the beginning of one of the most special weeks of our lives.

As it all happened very spontaneously, nothing was recorded, and so I decided to re-record part of this memorable journey and share it with you.

Special thanks to Rise for hosting me and for bringing the most incredible art experience to the playa.

SNOW RAVEN - SUOR was born in one of the most remote and cold inhabited places in the world - the Republic of Sakha - Yakutia (arctic Siberia). She was three years old when she started to learn the language of birds and animals. Her voice takes its breath from traditional Sakha culture and is truly an instrument. She is the OG of “arctic beatbox” - the reindeer breath and the founder of OLOX, the NEOshamanic Portal to a Decentralized Humanity, Earth and Consciousness.

This sculpture embodies the profound origins and intentions that emerge from those who seek to elevate their community, embrace their journey, and commitment to achieving mastery in their chosen pursuit. Farmer welcomes everyone and all forms of expression as we share this one-of-a-kind experience of collective energy and unity through the ancient practice of drumming and dancing in community.

“Greetings friends. Im very happy to recieve the amazing Robot Heart family’s choice to release my set from the burn last year. After a wild and wonderful week for dust & mud, This impromptu evening on the bus was stitched together quite suddenly by our dear Robots, who assembled all the loons left behind from the fleeing masses on Monday night. This may have been one of the best nights in terms of vibe i’ve felt on the playa in a long time. For the true warriors stayed for the next few days to extend our journey without a single complaint of rain or mud to be whispered at any point throughout the evening. To those who were in attendance… i salute you. To the responsible ones who were on the move… dont worry, we saved you your seats. To the global family who skipped this year with an unexpected smile… guess again 😉. And to my favorite wizards, witches, and warriors of the Robot Heart… you make the magic true and dependable year after year, rain or shine, virgins or veterans, hardships and happiness. The Anjunadeep Edition 185 with Mira

Before she became Black Velveteen,
Chris Offutt was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. Her parents introduced her to a wide range of music; Motown to Mozart and everything in between. Some frequently featured artists in young Chris’s house were Aretha Franklin, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Wonder and James Taylor. Current influences include Chris Fortier, Amonita, Wilma, Nora En Pure, Tayllor, Andre Lodemann, Bedouin, and Matt Sawyer to name a few.

From a very young age she dreamed of hosting her own radio show. In 2011 that dream became when she had her own show “ Progressions in House” on FNOOB based out of London.
Chris enjoyed DJing around the San Francisco Bay Area from 2012-2019 . In 2012 she became the resident DJ and musical director at Aloft Hotel SFO. In 2013 Djing in the Pride Parade on the W Hotel float. In 2015 she was asked to perform on the Tantra Stage for Pride in San Francisco. She was in rotation at The End Up and did guest spots and Monarch, The Great Northern and Wish. In 2016 Chris was asked to join AirPusher Collective. She has also done guest mixes for FriskyRadio, Proton Radio and Elastic Beatz, Innerflight, Space Medicine and more. She currently enjoys residencies at Caravan, Reflect and is coproducer and resident at Habitat Seattle Velveteen's style and sound is indescribable as she reaches for sounds and music that turn her listeners on to a new experience.
