This is my own arrangement of the themes Mike Oldfield used in The Killing Fields - specifically the ones for Pran (one of the main characters).
This has long been one of my favourite soundtrack themes and I'm well chuffed that it has been included in the Mike Oldfield Tribute album produced by members of <a href="http://tubular.net" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://tubular.net</a>. The whole album can be downloaded from <a href="http://thetubularnetgroup.weebly.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://thetubularnetgroup.weebly.com</a> .
Just to make it clear... the themes are by Mike Oldfield, I just humbly arranged it for solo piano.

Praya

This is a straight remake of a piece from the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood soundtrack by Akira Senju. I wanted to get a close to the original piece as possible using samples only. I remade this from scratch by ear so some notes may be wrong or slightly different - there also may be minor changes due to sample limitations. The string runs also sound awful. If anyone can recommend a decent string run library (other than OSR) or a technique with multisamples I'd appreciate it :)

The Youtube video shows FL Studio playing back the piece for anyone who's interested - the timing is a little off but it's too late to fix that and I want to be done with this piece.

At that time I met a stranger, her story was sad and her voice gentle.. She saw and heard what no one should.. She suffered a lot. I recorded lullaby for her to make our world quieter, less scary, cold nights warmer. Many times my music was written by empathy, maybe this one is an illusion of fear that we pass through. It seems to weep over the idea of utopia, happiness. Everything needs a little bit of silence .. Even music..

Stranger

Another attempt at remaking this awesome track from Akira Senju's Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood soundtrack. This time I was using the latest commercially available samples I have so that I could put this as part of my 'Capabilities of the Orchestra' articles.

Fullmetal Alchemist - Laws of Alchemy Remake (2012)

The Lapis Philosophorum piano solo from FMA:Brotherhood is one of the only things I can really play that well on piano. This started off as me simply recording myself performing the piece but I went back to it and added strings, dings and tings as accompaniment. I wanted to keep the piano as the main focus of the piece considering it's originally a solo.

An orchestration of the main theme from Daisuke "Pixel" Amaya's game "Cave Story". I freestyled a little more from the original tune than usual for this piece, so hopefully it still fits the game. I was mainly testing out various patches and generally practising with instrumentation.

Cave Story Orchestra

An orchestration of Song of Healing from The Legend Of Zelda - Majora's Mask. I'd never paid much attention to the Zelda music until recently. I wish I had gotten into it much earlier as there's so many good pieces of music hidden behind 8bit blips and blops. I have a 'making of' video for this piece of music that's coming as soon as I chop it up!

This song itself is a musical sequel to 'Adventures in your Sleep' from my first originals album. It's always felt like a bit of a theme tune of mine, so I really wanted to approach the track from a different angle. This rendition feels much bigger and bolder. Stylo G - Soundbwoy (Di Genius Explicit Remix)

Just a little remake of Lullaby of Resembool from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood's awesome soundtrack. I've been working on a sample library recently and not had any time to compose so I figured I'd have a quick play with it. Made in roughly an hour or so from start to finish.

Didn't think I'd have to put this, but ::Disclaimer:: This is not a demo of Sable and is not made to demonstrate it's capabilities - there will be plenty of demos on the Spitfire site showing what it can do. This is simply me playing about with a new toy I helped make to recreate a piece of music I love.

Oliver Sadie — Wired [Improvisation]

Just a little remake of One is All, All is One from the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood soundtrack. It's mostly faithful to the original but has little bits of Blake-Spin in it. It's a bit rough around the edges but I didn't want to spend too much time on it, so this is about 45 minutes of work.
