Secret of the Golden Flower

Put together and recorded in February 2025, finally decided to open up to public to have a listen.

Improvised session with tribal drums out of the Roland TR-8S and my Befaco eurorack case.  Playing out the  jam, the begins with a percolating Rings Percussive Bassline shimmering in sparkly delay. A droney waverly pitched synth  washed in reverb soon comes in and  then it's all topped off with a bit of Plinky Granular Mangling an Acoustic Guitar Sample awash in reverb.

Slow Chuggy BPM around 104 BPM I think it was.

Next thing you know, it's over.

“Traces”, the debut album from Vesto Comodo, presents a sonic meditation on the enduring power of human emotions and behaviours in an era where the boundaries between organic and artificial consciousness have dissolved.

Introspective, funky, earthy and deep: the album sound palette juxtaposes elements like century-old piano phrases with mysterious synth pads, while tape-squashed drum breaks and jazzy flute themes spiral together creating a journey into a prehistoric futurism.

This is my first Album and private press project.

Resident DJ at Badaboum Club in Paris and hosting a show on Piñata Radio in her home town Montpellier, she performed alongside Overmono, Bicep, Ross From Friends and Laurent Garnier. Her productions infused of house, techno, acid & break with some solid 90s influences leaded her to sign tracks and records on Pont Neuf Records, Les Yeux Orange, Sengiley Records, Plaisance Records to name a few and a first album on Lost Palms/Shall Not Fade in 2022. I like Underground Dance and Electronically Based Music, primarily. Located in Dobbs Ferry (prior, I lived NYC and Boston before that). I use a mix of Analog and Digital Hardware Devices from across the decades and of course anything I can load up inside of Ableton Live (whatever the current version is).
