Raffaele Attanasio joins for DifferentSound Podcast #177.

I’m always hungry for new sound experiences, and I’ll put all my soul into it." - Raffaele Attanasio Born to a musician father in his home city of Naples, Attanasio was only satiated when listening to virtuoso maestros like Il Guardiano del Faro and Keith Emerson. Developing his prodigious ear, he trained on drums and then piano and his auspicious ability become apparent early. In his late teens, he ventured into DJing and electronic music production and has garnered plaudits from Jeff Mills, Len Faki and Ben Sims; even performing with Mills in a B2B live set and also Octave One. He found a home within the electronic music community, heading his own label Letter From Jerusalem, and releasing on others, such as Third Wave Black and Non Series. His label even released music from Douglas McCarthy of the band Nitzer Ebb.

Cintia Martís, una dj gallega procedente de Ribeira ( La Coruña ). Su recorrido musical comienza en la adolescencia como clubber  y con 24 años se mete de lleno en la escena de su comunidad como dj, recorriendo gran parte de localidades y promotoras de fiestas de música electrónica. Hoy, con 29 años puedes encontrar sus sets tanto en formato digital como en 12" , e incluyendo numerosas veces los dos formatos juntos.

Ha llegado a pinchar hasta Berlín y Birminghan y en varias ocasiones también en Portugal en clubs como el emblemático Gare Porto, lugares arraigados por la cultura techno .

En la escena nacional no obstante de su comunidad (Galicia) , también ha estado en Bilbao , León y Madrid, donde a día de hoy y desde el año 2023 tiene residencia con el colectivo y sello Phase Ctv.

Musicalmente se define como contundente e instrospectiva , buscando la linea y la coherencia dentro de sus sets e inundandolos de sonidos oscuros y bizarros, donde reconoce incluso aveces buscar con sus mezclas llegar a bucles repetitivos pero a la vez dinámicos .

En esta ocasión, Cintia nos regala este podcast de un toque más personal en la música electrónica , dejando totalmente de lado su sonido y su zona de confort , entrando en un contexto más intimo del que suele disfrutar mezclando pero que no lleva a las pistas y esta es la ocasión idónea para poder mostrarnos su otra cara y sus otros gustos , con una selección de break beats y electro con muchas melodías y sonidos mas melancolicos e instrospectivos .
