Paper has been pushing all things deep house and disco from the furthest reaches of the world via the good old North of England since the early Nineties.

The label has already featured a new series of EP's showcasing the best new dance music and future funk, house and disco from the world's finest producers.

We kicked off in 1994, leading the upsurge in popularity of UK house music within an underground scene previously dominated by a soundtrack from US cities like Chicago, Detroit and New York. Enhanced by a strong visual identity, as well as impeccable musical quality control PAPER was, and is one of the world’s most treasured record companies.

It continues to be funk-fuelled and bottom heavy!

Named Best Spotlight Producer of 2024 by Only Good Vibes Awards, his Disco House remixes of Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Whitney, Bill Withers, Jamiroquai, Chaka Khan, Eurythmics, Prince and Chic have amassed over 12 Million Soundcloud streams.

Collaborating with Nightcrawlers, Rozalla, Kathy Brown and Abigail Bailey, his original productions have been released by labels Tropical Disco, Midnight Riot, Tropical Velvet, Spa In Disco, Bombstrikes and Blockhead, and he regularly produces albums exclusively for Mastermix, Europe’s largest DJ-only music pool.
 
Behind the decks he’s supported The Chemical Brothers, Odyssey, Norman Jay, Freemasons, Lenny Fontana, DJ Yoda, Jazzie B, Scratch Perverts and Grant Nelson, playing for renowned brands Hed Kandi, Ministry Of Sound and Wilderness Festival, and is resident DJ for popular 80’s, 90’s & Disco event Vivid People.
 
With repeated support from Dimitri From Paris, Jamie Jones, Horse Meat Disco, Gok Wan and Rylan’s BBC Radio 2 show,     Jet Boot Jack pushes the boundaries of Disco and House, merging the old with the new, the familiar with the different, the vintage with the cutting-edge, never losing his firm focus on feel-good fun.

Edinburgh based, via Bristol. As a DJ and producer he digs from broadly eclectic tastes with a deep fondness for leftfield, cosmic, and psychedelic sounds. Often found idling in the lower tempos, but with a keen determination to start a dance. A heady blend of chuggers and freaky bits, slow-mo house and playful electronica, with plenty bangers when the time is right. He’s been putting on parties since before he was old enough to legally be in the clubs that housed them, has been hosting radio shows for almost half his life, along with various other facts and stats that make him seem both pretentious and old. He co-runs Moving Heads Festival, and is 1/6 of the team behind EHFM’s future award winning Mornings show.
