The second instalment of the Moondance & Dope Ammo Records album sampler features 3 heavyweight remixes of some absolute classics from the past. If you’re a raver from the early 90’s or simply someone who just enjoys good dance music, these tracks are most certainly for you.

Kniteforce Records are still a big deal today and this wicked remix of one of their rave anthems will appeal to fans of new and old alike. DJ Ham’s ‘Most Uplifting’ has seen a few versions since ‘94, however, it’s now time for Bladerunner to take to the controls and add his renowned magic. The timeless piano score is here alongside some great chopped and rolled breakbeats. Exactly how it should be done.

DFTD delivers a package of unmissable club heat from Red Eye and Ancient Deep’s collaborative project R.E.A.D. Already tearing up dancefloors since last summer, this anticipated release’s distinctive vocal hook caught the attention of Defected Radio Show host Rimarkable and became a staple in her club sets, before it was picked up by the label’s A&R team for a full release. This package features the hypnotic original and R.E.A.D.’s stripped back Get After It Mix, as well as remixes from Ocha Records boss CASAMENA and Italian club don Marco Faraone. While CASAMENA takes a classic house approach with joyous piano chords and an irresistible 4x4 groove, Marco Faraone goes tougher with powerful synth stabs and a fierce bass destined for peak time moments.

Toolroom have been flying so far in 2022 and judging by this next release, the label isn’t letting up any time soon. Up next is a huge return from none other than Huxley who returns after 2 years since his last visit, dropping a Piano House weapon destined for the dance floor with ‘Waiting’. The UK House legend has been a household name for some time now, having graced the pages of every premiership dance label from Gorgon City’s Realm Records to Yousef’s Circus Recordings and more recently signing to Ultra, Huxley is a man on a mission in 2022.
 
A record inspired by the Raves and Warehouse parties from the 90’s, Huxley has zoned in on the vibe from past days, modernising it for 2022 with his own unique twists. Bordering the fringes of Melodic House & Techno, ‘Waiting’ is a deep record full of emotion that hits differently. A House record fuelled with Huxley’s passion for dance music, with euphoric piano chords, washed out vocal cuts echoing throughout the record complimented with the adrenaline inducing bassline; ‘Waiting’ is sure to be a firm favourite and a staple release for the label in 2022.
