While some people found the pandemic a perfect opportunity to be productive, I managed to master gaining weight whilst being lazy and bored out of my mind.  And so came one creation in 2 years...this song.

The conflict within me was feeling bored, but then feeling guilty about being bored, because at least I was healthy and comfortable, while so many were suffering.  Covid Sucks Balls.

Bobby Messano is a legendary guitarist and contemporary blues artist who has released seven solo CDs, placed songs in many TV and cable shows and played on over 50 major label and indie albums. His music has been heard on everything from MTV jingles to Benny Mardones' smash hit, "Into The Night". The celebrated guitarist has played on records by Clarence Clemmons, Franke & The Knockouts, Joe Lynn Turner, and STARZ. His CD's are heard daily on "Sirius/XM's B.B. King's Bluesville." His 2015 album, Love & Money, was nominated for a prestigious Blues Blast Award for "Best Rock-Blues Album" in August 2015. It debuted on the Billboard Blues Chart at #7, peaked at #1, and spent a total of nine weeks in the Top 10.      For Lemonade, Messano's ninth studio album, Bobby joined forces with Bob Malone (John Fogerty), Doug Belote (Eric Clapton), and Carl Dufrene, JR (North Mississippi Allstars). The album was inspired by trying to balance personal relations in a complicated, ever-changing industry. Lemonade will be released on July 12th, 2019 via Fishhead Records.

THE SONGS I NEVER SANG (THE COVID SESSIONS) releases on January 29th on all digital platforms. The Project is a labor of love for Bobby. It is a collection of 11 songs that he has loved in his life but never recorded.
