The follow-up to my debut album, "Bloom", comes "The Justification of Loneliness": a five-track EP centering around the mindset I’ve developed after all of my serious relationships backfired on me.

I began to question whether or not I was just not going to be good enough for one and if I was ever going to experience one like the people around me have been: something real, something built on trust, something reciprocal.

Over the last five years, I’ve been in a mental rut that I was never able to crawl out of. On top of not having a lot of self-confidence in myself as a person or a musician, I never felt desirable romantically and after many, many nights of being too much in my head, I started to lie myself and tell myself “this is what’s meant for me” and “l’ll be okay”. I think Bloom was the first step towards breaking free from those thoughts and thankfully I’ve been on the up and up since.

I don’t openly talk about these kinds of things, but self-confidence has been the biggest hurdle in this stage of my life. I wrote a song touching on that idea earlier this year called “Dynasties” at the time and I felt that I could and should focus an entire album or EP on the idea.

As much as Bloom and all its songs are a part of me, documenting moments of my life - The Justification of Loneliness is also a part of me but from another side I have spent so long concealing.
