Donald Dust's new offering arrives courtesy of London's Claptrap label and will be distributed by Berlin’s flagship record store Oye. “Fluorescent Music” EP blends the best bits of early mid-80’s Chicago House; the melodic side of The Hague's late 90s and early 2000s sound shaped by the likes of I-f and Intergalactic Gary; and also there are palpable hints of early experiments in Italo Disco. We couldn’t think of a better blend of sounds and styles ourselves!

Today Bolting Bits are premiering B1 track from the release titled “Rescue ships approaching”. Kudos to Donald for a really nice work on the drums and percussion, but this time the rhythmic part of the track will have to hold the candle for the synths. The arpeggiated line rolling almost throughout the track will surely get you hooked and cosmic pads and stabs with other synthesized melodic elements will transport you deep into interstellar space. For their inaugural flight, Magic Bird coaxes left-of-centre master Golden Fleece into sacrificing a glittering, intergalactic original for the label's first outing. 'Schapelle's Boogie' bathes listeners in space-age sweeps and reverberating guitar struts, all tied together by a hypnotic bass arp and slick percussion combining in chuggy dancefloor salutations from Golden's parallel universe.

Marious Circus :  "Lost My Way To Baia" was one of those tracks where the basic idea came together really fast. Like, RIDICULOUSLY fast! I went into the studio with an idea that I wanted to do something Italo house inspired. After about 25 minutes, I basically had the whole track down. At least the basic groove, bass line, chord theme and main lead. I do generally work quite fast in the studio, but that was quick even for me.
I posted a short snippet of it on Instagram, and I think it's safe to say it's the most unison positive feedback I've ever received on any piece of music I've ever posted on there.
Which obviously freaked me out... After all, half the job is not ruining the good ideas in the process.
Anyway, after a few grueling weeks I did emerge at the other end with a result for Matt Karmil to do his mixing magic to. Which he truly did on this one. Love how he always makes stuff sound as it was intended.
'Atlantis' is a bit more of a downtempo joint. I basically just had a beat going and played some live keys on top of it. Ended up being a bit more of a jazzy number (to the extent that what I do counts as 'jazz'. (It probably doesn't.)
I'm gonna be honest and say that I'm rather proud of this release. Hope you like it too! :-) "

With the first release of OPW001, On Point Worldwide Records are proud to uncover the memoir of Hong Kong based French producer -  Romain Fx. An outstanding musician that quite a few years ago planted a seed that through the years of event experiments and music excavations flourished into the “Kimokeye EP” influenced by the grooves of African melodies, raw vocal snippets with a final touch of uplifting variety of FM synths. Monsterotico is the EP and features 3 fantastic tracks of electronica that will appeal to a wide range of tastes. Italo, Disco and House vibes can be heard throughout the EP which delights at every turn. The EP features two original compositions the title track 'Monsterotico' is supported by 'Lady Genesis' and remix of 'Lady Genesis' from label buddy Alex Aguayo. We love this EP and hope you do too.
