The latest installment in our free download series welcomes Nicolas Rada for his third appearance. Upon beginning his career in 2007, Nicolas quickly became a favourite of Hernan Cattaneo where his original productions and private remixes become a staple in the sets of the storied DJ. Hailing from Buenos Aires, the Argentinean artist eventually found a home on Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden and Eelke Kleijn’s Days Like Nights where his groovy progressive sound has flourished. 2017 proved to be a breakout year, highlighted by his first remix collaboration with Nick Warren, where the duo reworked Upercent’s ‘Pulsacions’ to both critical and commercial success. Now frequent studio partners, Nicolas and Nick have continued to build a strong studio synergy showcasing their original material on Nick’s The Soundgarden imprint while also recording a string of impressive remixes for Get Physical, Monday Social Music, Proton Music and Timeless Moment. On the solo front, Nicolas has also continued to prosper with an appearance on Patrice Buamel’s GU Berlin compilation, along with original projects for Sudbeat Music and TRYBESof. Having first appeared on our free download series with his hugely sought-after remake of Bjork’s ‘Mutual Core’ in 2019 and then again in 2020 with an equally large rendition of Underworld’s ‘Cowgirl’, we’re happy to welcome Nicolas back with a huge interpretation of the Depeche Mode classic ‘Precious’. Initially remixed by progressive house icons Sasha and Spooky in 2005, Nicolas now brings a new perspective to the track which has been championed by John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. After months of requests from electronic music fans we’re now happy to offer it as an exclusive free download. Enjoy!

Argentinean artist Ezequiel Arias has enjoyed a litany of successes across his now decade-long career. As a perennial staple in the sets of progressive music tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, the Cordoba resident has emerged as one of the genre’s elite producers in recent years. Anjunadeep, Odd One Out, Replug and Sudbeat have been recent vehicles for his groovy sounds, while his highly regarded DJ sets continue to see him grace some of world's trendiest venues and festivals. As a regular contributor to our series, Ezequiel has taken to editing and remixing iconic tracks from 16 Bit Lolitas, Active Child and most recently Sasha’s titanic take on Unkle’s ‘In A State’. Continuing to search for new pieces to put his elusive stamp on, Ezequiel took to editing Jody Barr’s ‘Accidental Lovers’ earlier this year. Famed for being selected to Sasha’s ‘LUZoSCURA’ project and featuring the vocals of Felicia Douglass, Ezequiel edited the emotive breakbeat piece into a slice of progressive house heaven. Now being championed by the genre's trendsetters, we’re happy to offer this edit as an exclusive free download to cap off the year in style. Enjoy.

Conceptualized in 2013, Colombian artists Alejo Cortes and Carlos Lopez aka NuFects decided to undertake a project full of energy, joy, colour and intrigue. They started producing progressive and organic house under the name NuFects, quickly earning recognition from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Cid Inc, along with very important local talents Dabeat, Gux Jimenez and Kamilo Sanclemente. Also finding a place in the more melodic uptempo realms of the genre, legends Paul Oakenfold and Solarstone became NuFects supporters, playlisting their music and making the duo a legit crossover act. 2023 has proved to be a prolific year for NuFects, releasing standout projects via Clubsonica, Movement Recordings, Suza Records and WARPP. The duo also took to re-imagining Sasha's classic production 'Belfunk' earlier this year, an unofficial and in demand remix which has featured in their sets of late, and is now available as a free download.
