Hard to believe it took Safe Space 3 years to release its first Dub Techno VA, but here we are!
Labelboss Ackermann starts things off with a kick heavy homage to dub originators like Scientist, King Tubby, Lee Perry and Prince Jammy, followed by label mainstay Black Mirror Park, who perfectly displays why his trademark chord workouts equally function on the floor and at home. Bondarük from Argentina pours a few bpm more into the fire and gets the girls dancing around it where brasilian Gabriel Marandola picks them up to take them to Detroit. Tino Trøster used to live there but now went full flexed german funkster with his track. Speaking of funk Ivan Emmanuel turned in one of the funkiest dub techno layouts we heard in a long time at the Safe Space bunker and next Stuttgarts best female producer TOX!KA lifts us back on the classic dub techno vibe with a light but anthemic summer outfit before Man With No Shadow pulls us down to the ground with his dry, heavy and monolithic slow burner of a tune.

At the border between tradition and pulsating desire for change, it was impossible to describe the Georgian Sonic soundscapes without finding its roots in the old winemaking tradition. There is no meal or reference without wine, just like there would not be this rising culture of artists without their thoughts for change, filled with the desire to bring a game-changing wind of change to the front of the scene, being musical or political.

devi finally reveals himself completely, the face of the wind of change which continues to blow over the red vines of Georgia.

Established in Rennes (France), RED REC has pushed forward a wide range of ambient, eclectic and proteiform compositions. Today, Lights Out brings you an exclusive premiere from Nastia's Nechto imprint. In October 2020, DJ Nastia announced an open call for electronic music producers around the world to submit unreleased tracks that would potentially become part of a major release on her label NECHTO. As part of the agenda, Nastia played 5 DJ sets at 5 unique locations, presenting new work by independent talents, some of which were heard by the public for the first time. As a result, 49 tracks were selected to be released as 5 digital LPs, with the first one being available on the 29th of January 2021. 

Taken from the Scary Beautiful LP, Gostwork provides an absolute hammer in the form of 'Boiler'. From the moment you press play, it's a full-on techno assault, but in a more stripped back way. This is a perfect tool to use to continue carrying the energy of your set to then take it up another level. Gostwork's Boiler is available today.
