Arjun set out on a remarkable journey into the breathtaking Himalayan mountains, a pursuit that would test his limits and lead him to deep insights about himself. Along the way, he faced rugged paths, unpredictable weather, and moments of solitude that shaped his experience.

Throughout this demanding trek, Arjun pressed on, drawing strength from the majestic peaks and the wisdom of the monks he met during his travels. 

As he climbed higher, the scenery transformed dramatically. Lush valleys were replaced by stark, icy landscapes, where a profound quiet enveloped him. In these solitary moments, he found comfort and built a deep bond with nature that surrounded him.

In his search for guidance, Arjun turned to the wise monks in ancient monasteries, soaking in their teachings and finding peace in the breathtaking environment.

After weeks of tough hiking, Arjun finally reached the hidden valley of Shangri-La. This pristine haven, untouched by the modern world, felt timeless. Surrounded by soaring peaks and enveloped in tranquility, he found a profound sense of calm and happiness.

In this serene setting, he took time to reflect on the lessons he'd learned, appreciating the growth and transformation he'd experienced along the way.

Yet, tragedy struck as he faced an unexpected and fierce snowstorm while returning to the village. The blizzard erupted, transforming the surroundings into a blinding whiteout.

Caught in the tempest, Arjun lost sight of his companions and became disoriented in the harsh wilderness. Despite the brave attempts of search teams, he was never found.

The mountains had claimed him, leaving his family, friends, and the entire village heartbroken by the sudden loss. News of his premature passing filled the community with deep sadness.

Arjun's memory endures as a powerful reminder of the unpredictable and formidable nature of the Himalayas. The village keeps his spirit alive, cherishing his memory in their hearts forever.

Behind the scenes, Keith has repeatedly experimented with a Milinenum MPS 650 electronic kit, running Battery 3, and using a self-created setup he affectionately named "OPTIMUS PERC."

If you listen closely, you can definitely hear Danny Carey's influence on Keith, particularly from Tool's track "Pneuma."

It’s worth noting that our song was actually crafted well before "Pneuma," and you can find it here: on.soundcloud.com/jCeuGdkZxHnxicoL9.

However, it's in Keith’s rhythmic approach where you can truly appreciate how much he draws inspiration from this extraordinary drummer from Tool.

Project 2 in Open C (Open for Collab)

I never met my paternal grandfather, who died from a brain tumor the year before I was born. However, I felt like I knew him well from my grandmother’s stories.  A child of poverty from a very large family, he grew up in a tiny rural town in the middle of nowhere (see photo).  Despite his very humble beginnings, he knew there was a greater purpose for his life and after returning from military service, he realized his calling to enter the ministry.

His life as a preacher took him down countless roads to cities both large and small, where he planted new churches and built vibrant congregations. Throughout his life, he was known not only for the weekly messages he delivered to his congregation, but also for his life of service to others.  This composition was written to remember that life of service. The introductory theme repeated throughout represents his many travels/moves to the churches and congregations he and his family served.
