This song is an attempt to be a bit more upbeat and introspective and less slow and introspective.  Its inspired by a lot of 90s alternative rock that I listened to as a teenager, I tried to capture the same dreamy, shoegazey vibe  that music had.

After more than a year without creating music, I'm happy to finally release a new sound. I built this sound as I went along and enjoyed it.
Always in a chill and dynamic mood, I want to show in this sound that I prefer to walk alone or get away from everything that stresses me to feel better. Have good vibes constantly :)

Jussi and Natasha arrived at the studio first and were just setting up when Jussi started playing the intro to "Lipstick and Ash " and Natasha began to fill out the strings.

By the time the rest of the band arrived the idea was pretty well formed and the song, cinematic post rock, is unusual as the drums and bass only feature for 8 bars, the rest being strings and guitar.

Dès que je l’avais vu, elle se démarquait par ces yeux. Je fondais dans le feu des cendres de ses cheveux qui m’éclairaient les cieux. Le rouge de ses lèvres est difficilement prévisible parce qu’elle est difficile et garde les moments où elle se met belle pour les personnes qui lui accordent leurs musiques. En  espérant qu’elle bondisse parfois.
Les divergentes sont les plus rares car quand elles affirment leurs couleurs parfois. Plusieurs de leurs troupes sont extrêmement jalouses parce que  si elle atteint leurs vrais potentiels artistiques, elle détruit les palmarès.  Elle est simpliste sur les bords, mais extrêmement complexe à comprendre. C’est  ça qui m’attire chez elle. Un rat qui essaye de te faire rayonner dans un monde  qui est déserté par la plaisance des petites choses de la vie comme toi. Un  jour j’aimerais savoir quel type de personne peut-être aussi belle d’esprit,  mais, peut-être n’a-t-elle jamais pris le temps pour savoir comment son âme brille... Elle aime être nomade. Elle aime voyager... Elle n’aime pas rester  au même endroit longtemps... Elle aime voir du nouveau... Tu es une perle, c’est  juste difficile à voir quand elle n’est pas au meilleur d’elle-même. Assez de  défauts pour voir qu’elle est humaine et assez de qualités pour être attirante  psychologiquement et physiquement... Ta divergence crée le désir Sophie...  Pourquoi j’ai l’impression que ton attention m’attire particulièrement vers les  nuages. L’enfer m’éclate parfois aussi... Tes couleurs m’empêchent de dormir ou  peut-être l’inverse, elle m’empêche de me réveiller, car cette femme est une  rêveuse... L’aura de ton âme me détruit la nuit... Je suis patient parce que j’aimerais atteindre la lune en ta présence. Je vais composer ce soir parce que  j’ai envie de léviter dans mes pensées, à essayer de te voir dans les couleurs du printemps.
