Attainment's Social Success is a wonderful social-skills training tool to help adolescents and young adults on the autism spectrum prepare for social independence. This app provides interactive tutorials on five topics that are relevant to daily living: at school, with friends, important skills, using technology and at work. Each of these topics explores key subtopics, such as asking for help, appropriate text messaging, safety at home, etc.

RightHear is a free navigation tool for users with visual impairments. It helps users easily orient themselves in all environments by providing information about their environment when outdoors and indoors (where Bluetooth beacons are installed).

Skyview is an astrology app that turns mobile devices into a virtual telescope. It uses your location to overlay your view of the sky onto your camera view. Skyview locates planets, stars, constellations, and a few of the brightest satellites that orbit the earth. This highly engaging app makes stargazing interactive and educational. Additional features include night mode and an augmented reality view of the universe. Users can select a celestial body by tapping the "I" button (or swiping up) to see detailed images and more information. Calming music, sound effects and sky object trajectories can be enabled or disabled when using the app. Another great resource is the option to download section where users can get even more awesome sky objects to find and follow. Skyview is a favorite science app of BridgingApps. We trialed this app with users of all ages and abilities and it was a hit.
