Gina Ferrera is a visionary with a passion for music from around the world most especially traditional rhythms.  Her music performances and teaching projects are influenced by leading edge electronic percussion (KAT) technology and their combined expression with traditional acoustic instruments, the healing power of sound and a celebration of culture. Gina is a seasoned drummer & percussionist, music educator, therapeutic teaching artist, ethnomusicologist, bodyworker and sound designer/producer. Her explosive poly-rhythmic performances feature a hybrid of live percussion and electronic drums, ranging from different styles of global mostly African influenced music to experimental avant and emerging multi-media. She seamlessly fuses beats and rhythms, both intimate and driving, with live production, looping, sampling and vocal effects.  Gina's work embraces our "interconnectedness", has its roots in ancient music and culture, and an intention for healing into the creative expansive future.  

Utilizing a hybrid of organic percussion, the alternate mode trapKAT (custom electronic drum setup), xylophones and a unique rhythmic dialogue, Gina Ferrera weaves her tale: "Laws of Nature". Breathtaking in its sonic range and richly evocative in content, the album seamlessly bridges the ancient and the contemporary, unfolding a world of contrasts and textures that reveals multiple new layers with each listening. 
"Laws of Nature" is a stimulating experience that crosses the spiritual with the sensual to the pure essence of sound. It’s at once a highly intimate statement yet one that crashes through boundaries and speaks to anyone whose path it crosses.

Julio César Andújar, who is popularly known as The Cu6an, Macario Galán or Dj Lakshmi, is a well-known artist, music producer, and performer of Cuban and Galician heritage. He started his career in the entertainment industry as a classically trained stage actor but later transitioned into music production in Hollywood. He joined legendary Spanish/Cuban rap pioneers Mellow Man Ace and Sen Dogg of Cypress Hill as a music producer and backup rapper.He has produced sessions for major labels such as BMG, UMG, and Flip/Interscope, at prestigious Los Angeles studios like Conway, the Record Plant, and the Village. As an independent music producer and composer, he has created library music and campaigns for Killer Tracks, Vivendi, Boeing, Hot Wheels, Thor MX, ESPN,Univision and many more.

In the late 1990s, The Cu6an emerged as a pioneering figure in American Electronic music by focusing solely on original production and live performance and rejecting djing. He was one of the early American pioneers of a new style that emerged from UK Rave Acid House culture, initially called Jungle, which later evolved into what is now known as Drum and Bass. His collaborations with UK notables like Dom & Roland, Nico, Fierce, and the Usual Suspects, and his crafting of a distinctive, Latin-inspired, Tech-Step sound and engaging live performance style, catapulted him to prominence as a headliner at early American raves, festivals, and underground parties from 1997 to 2016 as a member of the WE ARE ONE collective of artists. 

WE ARE ONE was founded by the late West Coast promoter and impresario Marcus Lara and expressed spiritual and uplifting themes in the early Rave movement, being instrumental in the legendary Narnia massives and bringing to light selfless service and community work into party culture. The collective featured early live acts and DJs such as Funky Sam’s 747, Conscious Groove, IOS, Miles Maeda, and Cirrus. 

Besides Drum and Bass, The Cu6an also explored and released traditional and Progressive House, Techno, Downtempo, and soundscapes designed for wellness practices. He has performed and released music under various aliases such as the Cuban, Macario Galán, DJ Lakshmi, Call Upon Power (band) all under the affiliation FORCES OF LIGHT.

As The Cu6an continues to push the boundaries of his artistic expression, he has recently delved into immersive and visual experiences, becoming proficient in programming 3D, AR, and VR technologies. This new dimension of his work simulates spiritual and psychedelic experiences, harnessing the therapeutic potential of sound and vision for wellness and healing. By integrating his music production expertise with cutting-edge visual programming, The Cu6an creates innovative, multisensory experiences that transport audiences to new consciousness and inner exploration dimensions.

Desert Dwellers is a pioneering electronic music project that bridges the ancient and the future, fusing deep bass, world instrumentation, and psychedelic textures into immersive sonic journeys. Founded in 1999 by Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe, the project grew out of the legendary Moontribe gatherings in the deserts of Southern California and Santa Fe, New Mexicos desert rave scene. 

Blending influences from many genres, Desert Dwellers has released dozens of albums and remixes, toured across five continents, and collaborated with an eclectic array of artists from around the world. Their music has graced stages at Symbiosis, Ozora, Lightning in a Bottle, Boom, Envision, Shambhala, and Burning Man, resonating with audiences through both meditative journeys and powerful dancefloor experiences.

In 2026, Desert Dwellers will enter its most significant evolution yet. Co-founder Amani Friend will be stepping away from touring to focus on studio production and other creative pursuits, while a new collaborator joined the project, acclaimed producer and mixing/mastering engineer Sarkis Mikael. While continuing to honor the project’s signature sound and ethos “Music Beyond Borders,” Desert Dwellers is now expanding into bold new sonic territories. Sarkis, with releases on respected labels like Sol Selectas, Saisons, and Hoomidaas, brings a fresh creative spark and deep musical integrity.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Meaghan Maples grew up singing in classical choral and gospel settings, honing her live performance chops before she was tall enough to ride a rollercoaster. She loves creating intimate and unique live performance settings, and often chooses to produce her own live performance events to ensure that her supporters and friends feel the sensation of inclusivity, authenticity and heartfelt, feminine empowerment.

Over the last few years, Meaghan has had incredible success songwriting in the TV and Film space under the moniker Mama Haze with brand partnerships including HBO, BET, Netflix and Peloton to name a few. Working closely with her band, publishing team, and collaborators at the non-profit label Over Everything, she spends her days focusing on making music that she truly loves. Meaghan describes the variety of material as genre-bending, sonically interesting and raw. 

Up & Away is the first of three singles rolling out in preparation for Meaghan's sophomore EP  titled 1763 (a nod to the address of a childhood home in the East Bay.) The 1763 EP will be released this coming Winter 2022.
