When Aljoscha's father placed cassettes of jungle, ambient and drum'n'bass in the hands of his seven-year-old son, he had no idea that he had just passed on to him the soundtrack of his life.

This heritage of multiple textures has been transformed into multiple aliases, including AJO, a character who transcends the boundaries of genres and time.

Signed to labels such as Electric Shapes and Mana Abundance, AJO invokes tribal elements and inter-astral electronic sounds. A primitive, almost animal quest dances between the German producer's synthesizers.

His new album, ‘God Is A Single Infinite Painting That Has No Frame’, adds to his psychedelic ambient and EBM-tinged electrooid explorations. Four remixes by YADÜ, La Serpiente, HyperLili and Théo Muller add an even more contemplative dimension to this opus, released on Ethos Records.

Acrartep, already known as a member of the drone duo Ab Uno, seems to expand his artistic vocabulary with this solo project, debuting under the Brutal Forms label, likely characterized by a raw and radical sonic approach. The drone influences create prolonged and dense soundscapes, while the noise element introduces distortion and abrasive textures, contributing to a hypnotic and unsettling atmosphere.
