One of my greatest fears is succumbing to a degenerative brain disease, especially dementia. The slow descent into the darkness and leaving reality, or the light, needed a haunting and sad sound for this song to capture that feeling. Will my demons and monsters emerge from the dark and into the light to become who I once was?

How to compose a song about climate change anxiety?

This song is about a woman who psychologically embodies GAIA and feels the earth dying. The Suits (business men and politician) have lied to her and offer little fixes (THERAPY) to make her feel better. The White Suits (scientists) have argued about climate change with only a handful willing to say we passed the tipping point, and there's no turning back. They offer her more therapy saying the earth will heal with new technology and innovations. All she can do is hide inside of herself to escape their world.

Let's hope the younger generation will not accept the Suits and the White Suit's therapy. Young activists are our only hope to heal the earth. Our generation accepted their therapy while knowingly and unknowingly, we allowed the earth to die.
