Boydex is back, and this time he’s brought a few funky family friends along for the ride!!

He kicks off joining forces with the legend Pecoe and new face Sully Sax to bring you ‘Push it’. This combo is perfect, and can’t get funkier, with smoooooth sax skills, stabby vocals a rolling bassline, and guitar riffs making those feet shuffle all the way through.
Next up is the title track, ‘Funk Fam’. This drops the tempo, for a bass heavy hip hop stomper celebrating the family that is FUNK!!
Now there are certain names synonymous with electric funk tracks, and Stabfinger is one of them. Boydex and Stabfinger are a perfect combo, creating a track filled with so many bass styles, yet strung together perfectly for a “hand-in-the-air" funk banger designed for nothing else than to ensure you’re glued to the dancefloor.
Now the party is going, why not add another ‘Party’ to the list. This keeps the vibe going, with its uplifting horns, flowing guitars and bass, as well as a few cheeky vocal stabs and raising strings to keep you in it.
To finish off, Boydex gets old skool funky with ‘Ease Your Mind’. From the moment you hear that flavaflav sample, you’re sucked into a world of soulful vocals, a deep rolling bassline, sax stabs and guitars to keep your groove going til the end!

Sticky Toffee Pudding), Beat-Breaker delivers even more bass heaviness. If you like your bleeps and analog synth sounds, then this track is the one for you. Taking a cheeky sample from the queen of cooking, he shapes this banger with bass just as squelchy as her S.T.P.If you like your funky breaks with that touch bass and sweet vocals, you&rsquo;re in the right place. For this whopper, Beat-Breaker enlists the wicked styles of Kurnel MC, who definitely brings the party vibes for this. The combinations of flowing basses and short sharp stabs from Kurnel MC, ensures a real soundsystem scorcher. Finishing off the EP, Beat-Breaker goes more up-tempo, bringing in the blinding vocals of Melody V. She hits you from the start, and keeps you locked. Alongside funky horns, subtle guitar riffs, and proper groovy drums, this track builds you up to a big breakbeat tune, that will have you jumping and wanting more.

Extra Medium & MARIA have put together a high energy Jazz meets Drum & Bass track that puts the listener firmly into the Jazz club.
 
Extra Medium is a Bristol born producer that has been taking on the influences of the city’s underground music scene and fusing it with Jazz music.  His love for Jazz and obscure sampling has led him to fuse the rolling sounds of drum and bass and the big shuffling energy of UK Garage, creating a unique and big take on bass driven dance music.
 
MARIA is best known as the front lady from the Dutty Moonshine Big Band and the "Jazz In You" shows off her full range.  With choral high notes and few mean sixteens, MARIA shows off how important the jazz in you is. The "Jazz In You" is one to keep your "Jazz hands waggling" whilst pulling a mean bass face.
 
This track is unique in the way it gives a feeling of being in a chilled jazz bar whilst simultaneously being fused with the impact of big energy drum & bass & a powerful front lady MCing with a message of gender equality and how you need to love the Jazz In You.

C@ In The H@ (pronounced: Cat in the Hat), DJ & Producer who creates a fusion of early twentieth century swing and jazz, and chunky twenty-first century beats with bouncy electronic bass.  

Hailing from Birmingham UK with an innovative style called "Swing with the Big Bass Sound", his DJ sets are about mashing it up and having fun, bringing you Electro Swing & Vintage Remix with aspects of Turntablism, DnB, House, Hip Hop, Dubstep & whatever else fits into the melting pot.  

He is also Director at Ragtime Records alongside Tom ESC (Electric Swing Circus) & Duke Skellington (Vaude Villainz).  His releases have seen him getting a number of Spotify editorial playlistings (including a no.1 spot), tracks in the top 10 on Beatport, and his remix of 'Swingin' Together' has been featured on no less than 3 best of Electro Swing compilations. As well as producing music for Ragtime Records, he has also had releases on Freshly Squeezed, Pedigree Cuts, Breakbeat Paradise Recordings, Ton Liebt Klang, & Greenqueen Music.   

Since 2012, his music has secured him gigs at the most exciting UK Festivals including Boomtown, Shambala, Secret Garden Party & Glastonbury; as well as seeing him playing gigs all across Europe, and further afield including UAE & Thailand.
