Nick Ellis is a Liverpool based singer/songwriter and guitarist performing a style of streetscape narrative-noir blended with a classic British acoustic approach. Song and Melody. Some people call it folk, some just call it good old fashioned song craft. Using a blend of rhythmic attack and finger-quick lucidity, his sound has been described as ‘a conversation between Elvis Costello and John Martyn’. Ellis is also is the lead singer/songwriter with Liverpool beat modernists The Blue Soul.

Nick Ellis on his sound: “…I like to use the guitar polyphonically when I play solo. I like to make it sound like a busy day, a place, an environment. And incorporate all those sounds you hear in the street. The conversations. The rhythms of the rain. The music of the traffic.”

Two Legs is a 26 year-old human who uses both electronic and acoustic instruments, as well his very own singing voice and all sorts of random samples, in order to create musical sounds which make you feel both happy and sad at the same time. 

Born and raised in the suburbs of Manchester, Two Legs sacked off his Northern roots and moved to the bright lights of London so he could become a famous music star. He has so far played many live performance shows alongside his trusty musician friends and has released some decent beats along the way. Some of his music has been called good by big shot blogs and mags, as well the people at Spotify who put him on some of their big Friday playlistings. 

Worldwide fame still waits on the horizon for this not-so-young-whipper-snapper but you can be sure as hell the paparazzi will be hounding his door someday. In the meanwhile, Mr. Legs is happy using his emotions to make music which makes you feel your own emotions.
