Oscar Santos, Aradon and Kila team up for a Generation Smash release of soon-to-be summer anthem ‘Afterglow’ featuring Marilys

Generation Smash waste no time in delivering more music from some of the most exciting names in EDM, as Begian’s Oscar Santos and Aradon team up with Denmark’s Kila to debut on the label with a multi-influenced whirlwind of a track, the irresistibly sunny smash ‘Afterglow’ featuring the vocal talents of Marilys. 

Marilys’ soulful vocals are introduced amongst harmonious twinkling synths before a stuttering kick is combined with a trappy roll and plucky guitar which melt into a summer-ready drop, guaranteed to be a mainstage in a number of DJs sets and already making waves on the dancefloor. 

Launched with the intent to pluck the finest emerging artists of the moment and aid their success, rising producers Oscar Santos, Aradon and Kila have found a natural home on Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s Generation Smash, an offshoot arm of global smash label Smash the House which was  founded only last month. Bio:
It took one spontaneous jump off a 360 foot cliff in New Zealand for Buffalo born Caley Rose to discover that she was a songwriter. She enrolled at the Songwriting School of LA the moment her feet hit US ground and began writing for pop and electronic artists and labels, before deciding to share her own story as an artist herself. This former opera and Off-Broadway singer’s songs have been featured in commercials for Lipton and Tomorrowland Music Festival, crossed the 1 million streams mark, and have received awards from the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest, the Empower Posi Music Awards, the Peace Song Awards, and the “Songwriters Who Care” songwriting contest. Her past life as a voice over actress and her sunny, candid demeanor gives her Indie Pop sound a fresh twist.

“Even When" won 2nd place in the 2020 “You Matter-Not Alone" charity's "Songwriters Who Care" song contest. 

We all know someone who is struggling and could use a song of support right now. “Even When” is a song of unconditional love, which we all could all use during these challenging times.  It is a cinematic ballad that expresses unfailing support for a loved one who is going through a difficult time.
