Holding over 10 years of experience under his belt, Bongani is a staple name in the Australian progressive tech scene. 

His accomplishments have spread far and wide on many levels, proven as a wizard behind the decks, in the studio & as A&R for arguably one of Australia's largest techno labels - Recovery Collective.

Having graced the stage at Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Subsonic and Esoteric Festival - it's likely you'll have caught wind of his driving peak-time sets, ebbing and flowing between huge melodic numbers and more stripped back psychedelic cuts.

I played upstairs  1:30am-3:00am Going through multiple areas from Tribal and progressive Techno, into some bush tech and proper techno and finishing with some proggy melodic trancier tracks. Hungry Slug is the latest EP from Australian producer RJ Banks, featuring two original cuts that fuse dark minimal techno with psy-tech undertones. The release explores deep rhythmic tension and hypnotic low-end design, accompanied by remixes from Lektrk and CommonGround, who each deliver their own distinctive interpretations.

A forward-moving, slow-burning statement of precision and groove — Hungry Slug dives into the deeper, more twisted side of minimal.
