"散步" is a recording project during 2018 - 2019, in which I walked around in different cities and fields with my inductors, recording mind and sound fragments around me.
This track was recorded during residency in Shiraoi, Hokkaido, Japan hosted by Lijiang Studio with the fund of ACC. The recording location was at the beach near a highway.

Project "散步" - Currents(At The Beach), Sept 14, 2019, Hokkaido

"散步" is a recording project during 2018 - 2019, in which I walked around in different cities and fields with my inductors, recording mind and sound fragments around me.
This track was recorded during residency in Shiraoi, Hokkaido, Japan hosted by Lijiang Studio with the fund of ACC. In this piece, I recorded while walking along the railway which runs across the small town. I particularly like the music from the radio which would play 1980s J-pops every afternoon around 5 o'clock.

I'm posting these particular recordings to highlight the low frequency response capable with the c-series contact mics. Frequencies down to 10hz can be detected. All digital recorders have a 10hz limited installed that can't be turned off without hacking the recorder.
