I was looking at old photos of a town gathering in the 1800s for a lynching. I was struck at the carnival atmosphere, the presence of all kinds of people, women and children. This is disturbing but very real and it is NOT confined to America,the South but instead is a sad global problem with religions and "God". Too often I think religions are excuses to commit some of the most awful  human atrocities . Religions,like leader cults(nazis/emperorsetc), seem to blind masses into justifying the slaughter  of the enemy of the day. God in most religions preached tolerance/forgiveness/inclusion and yet these fundamental principles are conveniently forgotten when it comes time to fulfill some self serving goal, monetary/territorial or ego. I wish I knew why

This song began more than a year ago, when Josh created a song out of a looper beat with his four string fretless bass. It sat on the shelf until a few weeks ago, when he shared it with JJ, who was in creative mode one Saturday evening. Josh had actually forgotten that he'd added a bass line to it, and thought he was just passing on a looper beat for JJ to play with. 
  However, JJ heard it, and was so excited that added his magical electric piano part, making it sound like a real song, instead of just drums and a bass. Ken also heard some magic in here, because he came up with his own brilliant beat to replace the looper that was used in for the seed. Mark was next to throw in, adding the striking drum pattern breakdown, and the thrilling flute solo, as well. Tez came in shortly after, adding his thrilling guitar to the mix. After everyone had added their parts, Josh came back and added two guitar parts, the simple low end line, as well as the high strumed triads. At this stage, Mark did some editing, as it is in his skill set, and made it less dense and easier to listen to. 
  Now that the song was musically complete, out newest member, Carl, dropped the amazing vocals you hear, singing his original lyrics. After Carl was done sprinkling his magic in it, we needed an able producer to bring out the magic of the recordings. Good thing we have a trained producer to do the job in Stephen, who mixed and mastered it superbly, as always. 
  This is Eclectic Collective's first fore into the afrobeat genre, although a few of us are really big fans already, and Josh has a few other originals in this genre buried on his page, as well. As always, we all enjoyed the process of hearing this one come together. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

The weeks I left behind me were hard weeks for me.
As a hard-working musician who was lying on the sofa waiting for some musical inspirations to be send from heaven.

But where was it?

What had I done wrong?

I tried to work harder and tried to relaxing deeper.
But there was no chance. No inspiration.

Just at that moment a notification from the evil hard working producer Patrick from Berlin(https://soundcloud.com/noc_berlin) was coming in.
He wrote me that he is working on a new track with the awesome poetry from SinTaMental(https://soundcloud.com/sintamental) and sent me a pre-listening version.
Furthermore he asked me if I have some hints, suggestions or if I want to deliver some additional sounds or if I want to make a remix of his awesome track(https://soundcloud.com/noc_berlin/noc-watery-grave-words-by-sintamental) .

He offered me the stems, but his version was almost perfect.

I left the sofa, as I felt a bit of pressure.
"I have to do a remix, quick, I have to do…"
The first tries to remix failed so I was a little bit frustrated.
So I decided to lay on the sofa again and forget about this theme.
A few days later I wanted to make a new track. Some simple kraut electro. The only thing I can do;)

Randomly I used a matching note scale, that was compatible to Patricks track.
So I had clashed the digits to this remix.
A little bit heavy, less professional, less clear, more crapy but hey: the call me heavy;)

While I was working on this track, I was chatting a little bit with sinth(https://soundcloud.com/sinth-2).
Maybe she smelled a rat that I’m working on a new track.
She delivered me some extra fx sounds whitch fit perfectly in this track.

In Mexico, I played with bands like  "Atrás del Cosmos", "Queso Sagrado", " Broken Heart", "Decibel", "Bardo Thodol", "Kathmandu Ensemble", Silent Light. In New York City I played with Bands like, "King"s East", "In The Service Of", "Fist of Facts", "Desire", "Dense Undergrowth"," "Matahari", "Like Wow", "Devil's Breakfast", "Muse Mob", "Atlantis 3000", "Monster", "Zenith", "Andromeda Crash" "Night Shade", I also collaborated with Hector Zazou, Harold Budd, Elliott Levin, Dennis Charles, Tetsu Inoue, Bettina Koster. Barbara Gogan, Salvatore Principato, Ken Man, Scott Hartley, Thomas Truax and many others. For many years I also wrote Jingles for a lot of products like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Mc Donalds, Toyota, Kodak, Payless Shoes, Rothman's, Salsa Tabasco, JC Penny, Liberty Science Center, American Heart Association, MCI, Reebok, AT&T, Fanta, Play Movil, etc, I also made music for Viacom writing music for cartoon networks, Bravo TV, Chanel 1, and MTV. Also wrote music for Bill Moyers (PBS)and also for Fax TV in Germany.

As a music lover, dance floor enthusiast, fan and supporter I'm looking out for a broad spectrum of electronic sounds. 
Soulful and groovy music is always most welcome, acoustic instruments, tribal influence and music with a jazzy or funky touch are also atracting me.  
I have always loved psychedelic music from the first moment I encountered. 
I'm into lot's of different styles as there is, world fusion, ethno, dub, some glitch, global- & temple bass, bass, psybient,, jazz & rock, alternative rock, trip-hop, the rappin' stuff, black people's music in general, chill out and, and and so on... 
 
Those sounds which are transporting the magical aspects, the light, the groovy and the healing vibes are most appreciated. 

Music is uniting us on the dance floor on SC and where ever you feel like.
