In photometry, luminous flux or luminous power is the measure of the perceived power of light. It differs from radiant flux, the measure of the total power of electromagnetic radiation (including infrared, ultraviolet, and visible light), in that luminous flux is adjusted to reflect the varying sensitivity of the human eye to different wavelengths of light.

My world never moved on from there
What should I dare become?
Ready drifter, astro-naught,
multi-hyphenate creative?
Beginning on the margin again
Beginner, constantly "un-"
Constantly blown by solar winds
My follicles untether
Rods skip cones, my focus
pan-galactic smithereens
What flakes of sound can write this SNOW?
in which now loses as "S"
and then an "O"
What next?

I've never advanced a single step
Equilibrium, homeostasis
Tight fit, clinging fabric of pulsar
Entropy, everything so near,
no city, no center.
Just a fan blowing a breeze
for no face. Just a poem
spoken for, broken from
a gathering of the nations of words!
Who-hoa. Heart-beat caldera
Glowing blind, thumped
in hunch-back gloom

Must mist sybilline whispers

The poem really starts to come to life
when it being read for the first time
as if it were being written in the mind of the reader
who does a double-take, trying to figure
where it all comes from, where it's going
where the poem is coming from
inside itself, siphoned outward

In realms beyond our mortal sight, Where cosmic wonders weave their light, The fifth dimension, veiled and grand, A tapestry of dreams unplanned.
A dance of shadows, mystic grace, Infinite realms, a boundless space, Dimensions folding, intertwine, A cosmic ballet, so divine.
Beyond the limits we conceive, A realm where time and space deceive, Unseen by eyes of mortal kind, The fifth dimension, vast, enshrined.
It whispers secrets to the stars, Unveiling tales of cosmic czars, A symphony of strings unseen, In the fifth dimension, worlds convene.
Transcendent echoes fill the air, A cosmic song beyond compare, Each note a portal to the unknown, In the fifth dimension, truths are sown.
Through veils of time, a journey starts, A pilgrimage to the deepest hearts, Where reality is but a theme, In the fifth dimension, echoes gleam.
Dimensions fold like paper thin, A kaleidoscope where dreams begin, Infinite patterns, colors blend, In the fifth dimension, stories transcend.

The Fifth Dimension

Born in México City in 1955, started playing at an early age. In Mexico, I played with bands like  "Atrás del Cosmos", "Queso Sagrado", " Broken Heart", "Decibel", "Bardo Thodol", "Kathmandu Ensemble", Silent Light. In New York City I played with Bands like, "King"s East", "In The Service Of", "Fist of Facts", "Desire", "Dense Undergrowth"," "Matahari", "Like Wow", "Devil's Breakfast", "Muse Mob", "Atlantis 3000", "Monster", "Zenith", "Andromeda Crash" "Night Shade", I also collaborated with Hector Zazou, Harold Budd, Elliott Levin, Dennis Charles, Tetsu Inoue, Bettina Koster. Barbara Gogan, Salvatore Principato, Ken Man, Scott Hartley, Thomas Truax and many others. For many years I also wrote Jingles for a lot of products like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Mc Donalds, Toyota, Kodak, Payless Shoes, Rothman's, Salsa Tabasco, JC Penny, Liberty Science Center, American Heart Association, MCI, Reebok, AT&T, Fanta, Play Movil, etc, I also made music for Viacom writing music for cartoon networks, Bravo TV, Chanel 1, and MTV. Also wrote music for Bill Moyers (PBS)and also for Fax TV in Germany.
